Thanks for the concern.  I just got back from a week+ at sea for work. It was a military vessel, not a sailboat or cruise ship, so accomodations are not very relaxing, to say the least.  I'm just taking things easy for a couple of days to catch up on family time.

That's true, they are not.  I've only visited one for about an hour when I was a young kid but I remember that much.  Well, that and it was so big!  :p

Anyway, take your time.  :)

Hi all - the motherboard on one of my two home computers just crapped out (only 1 1/2 years old, too!).  It may slow me down a bit.

I have a new post up, though it is a bit sparse.  I must apologize for my slow posting of late.  In addition to my trips for work, and our main computer motherboard dying (an ASUS A8V-E Deluxe - do not buy one of these!), my eldest child who has Apserger's Syndrome (an Autistic-type disorder) has been having a tough time of it as he approaches the teen years.  His tough times mean tough times for all in the family.

Anyway, I have no intention of leaving here, but my creative juices have been a bit tapped in recent months.  Hopefully, we can get things rolling along better in the near future, so I'd like to see if everyone is still with us, primarily Lanka and Alister who have not posted recently. I'll give everyone a day or two to post, then have up the next round.

   And it seems as if it's not one thing, it's another.  My daughter's dog, a 6-yr old Basset Hound was in and out of the vet's all weekend with some kind of back problem.  We've been lugging her 45 lb. body up and down stairs to pee and such.

I think we all go though these kinds of times every now and then to keep us from getting to self-satisfied...

I understand you very well. Just make sure you get your life in order, I'll be here, just like Tuar and the others.
