"No, I don't. We were teleported here." He sympathized with Don's unhappiness, not wanting to have to leave Andy in whatever straits he was in, nor wanting to have to perhaps do evil himself for the demons. But he didn't see a way out.

Meg asked softly "You two need a lift?  And, Hunter?  I mean it.  Don't get your belly thwapped too hard, you guys don't patch like everyone else.  By all rights, you should look about twenty years younger than you are, Hunter, and feel ready to tackle King Kong."

Re: The Porsche Dealership

Gate could only watch as people were hurt and Hunter nearly killed. He hated feeling so powerless. He hated that there wasn't anything he could do. However he still felt a little relief when Andy vanished and didn't appear again. At least it meant that while the Heroes hadn't won they had driven him away.

When everything started to settle down he headed over towards Hunter. At least he could help them get to where they needed to go "I can help if you guys need transportation. I had a chance to look over a map of the city so just tell me where you need to go and I can open a gate to there." He also looked over to Ozzy's grandfather and the holy warrior. "I'm not sure how else I can help but maybe if I tell you what I can do you can think of something."

"Is that allowed?" Rodger started to whisper to Hunter when Meg made her offer. But Don accepted it, so Rodger guessed that it was permitted by whatever the rules were for this mad 'game'. He nodded affirmatively to her, and Gate.

Meg shrugged, and said dryly "I doubt you're anywhere near Mom's age, but she's far too familiar with some of the other things you are.  Special Ops training means military, so I'll hazard a guess at somewhere in your forties."  She pointed at his belly "Remember.  That's NOT fully healed.  Be gentle to it."

"I'll be fine" Hunter said firmly his tone meaning he wanted to hear nothing more on the subject. Turning to gate he added. "If you could get us to the Mayor's office like ROdger Mentioned that'd be great."

"Would right outside the building be ok? I'm not sure wht they would think if I opened it up right inside the mayors office. I might also cut someone in half if I open it up in the wrong place."

Re: The Porsche Dealership

"Alright" he says with a smile. At least he was doing something. Now that there wasn't an immediate threat to his life Gate takes a few extra seconds to do it correctly. Holding out his hands he focuses on where he wants to go. To every one else it simply looked as if a small circle appeared a few feet from Gate and then grew big enough for a car to drive through within a few seconds.

To Gate an image of the city flows through his mind centering on the mayors office. Over this image he imposes one of the ground a few feet infront of him. Then he starts melding the image until the two places were actually the same place. As the immage solidifies in his mind the gate gets bigger.

Re: The Porsche Dealership

Rodger peered at (and through) the opening gate to see what was there. This was fascinating, the way the lad was opening the way, and he had to marvel at the gift that enabled it. Could this be another like Meg? She controlled two of the fundamental forces of physics, and it seemed like Gate/Key had command of another here.

"There you go." He says takeing a satisfied breath. It always felt... weird when he had to make a gate quickly. He always liked doing it this way better and everytime he did it he oould make it a little bigger than the last.

Dragon Fist nodded, and then extended his draconic wings, and took to the air, high enough so that he would not be suspicious.

He then followed Brother Joshua as they went to the safehouse.

Iris shrugged. Hunter had left her wagon at the NAD headquarters, but she had her hoverboard. She preferred to move under her own steam anyway, so she pulled the laptop-sized collapsed piece of titanium out of her bookbag and opened it back into it's V-shaped disk. Glancing backwards, she asked, "Anyone need a ride? I can take one other teenager-sized person on this thing without stressing it's mechanicals."
