Re: Derrton
Ozzy was grateful when the search ended. Derrton was almost as crazy as Weston! In addition to dodging the usual foot traffic on the sidewalks, he'd had to duck out of the way as some huge Indian guy sent a criminal flying with a punch! Not to mention when he had to stop tagging a building to hide from some guy with ten freaky energy arms coming out of his back.
'Doc Ock fan much?' he thought as the parahuman went by.
He hadn't gotten involved largely because he didn't want to pull any of the local paras away from their work, nor did he want to be distracted from his. Shade was Weston's problem, and someone from Weston would deal with him.
Ozzy took a look around to see if the abandoned gas station was actually abandoned, or if there were signs that the gas station had seen some recent use. He especially wanted to keep an eye out for security cameras and the like, just in case.
Oswald the Elder, meanwhile, 'ported to a nearby rooftop, to be closer so he could better watch over his grandson. He'd been harassed earlier by a parahuman who called himself Darklight, who'd been on patrol and had been wondering what an old man was doing on the roof of a building, staring intently at the top of his cane. Oswald, of course, asserted that he was not a threat to any innocents, and that as an American citizen he had every right to stand in a non-restricted area as long as he wasn't doing anything illegal.
