"Different Handlers." Shade replied as he appeared directly behind him attempting to sweep his feet out from underhim with a shadow bo-staff.

Ozzy smirked as Shade 'ported behind him again. Ozzy hopped over the low swing, throwing a quick back-kick at Shade as he spun towards the villain, then firng off a couple of quick paint-balls to try and snare Shade.

"Yeah? I guess you got the short end of the stick, huh? So, what, you're going to try and get some kind of revenge on the DPA or whatever for doing that to you? Or is this just an attempt to show that you're just as much of a bad-ass as your old man was?" he asked, trying to keep the banter flowing.

Shade threw up A shadow shield to block the paint balls and just barely dodged the kick. "Little of column A little from Column B."

"Yeah? So where does kidnapping one of the DPA's brass fit into all this? You need funding or something? I remember that Medusa told me that your little get-together after the prison break was going to be arranged via cheap-ass disposable cell phones. Too bad Mass over there smashed hers, otherwise we woulda crashed your little party." said Ozzy, smirking as he clapped his hands together, activating the runes he'd drawn. Suddenly, light flared from the armor, trying to better illuminate the room and hopefully limit Shade's ability to 'port around or run away.

"As it is, it doesn't look like it'll matter too much. I figure they can either keep you doped up so you don't cause any more trouble, or I can just take care of you now. You've obviously been sneaking more paras out, I remember handing Mass over to the cops not too long ago. Or do some of the wanna-be cops on your dad's payroll answer to you now?"

"That would be telling." Shade replied as he rushed forward holding some kind of Shadow sword, at the same time shadow tendrils were coming up behind him trying to grab his legs.

"That's kind of the point of me asking," he retorted as he moved to block the shadow-sword with a paint-sword of his own. Unfortunately, he didn't notice the shadow-tendrils just yet, the armor on his legs blocking his sense of touch until they tried to do anything forceful.

The shadow tendrils gripped his legs pulling him to the ground as it attempted to cover the whole of him while Shade aimed his sword at Ozzy's throat. "Say uncle."

Ozzy smirked and said "!@%$ you." before his paint-sword curved, the blade curving and shooting towards Shade's head. Hopefully, the paint-armor would be enough to save Ozzy from any reflex-cuts Shade managed to make.

Shade grabbed at his throat as Ozzy's blade slashed at it. Suddenly fading into shadow.

As Shade faded into shadow, Ozzy struggled against the blackness surrounding him, hoping to break free. If he hadn't killed Shade, then he'd need to be free to stand and fight. He doubted that that trick would work twice.

The shadows dissapered leaving Ozzy free. Just then the Door burst open Revealing Ethan in nothing but black pants his torso covered in cuts and a couple bullet wounds that were visibly healing.

"Ethan! There you are. Let's roll. If Shade did manage to dodge that stab, I wanna get among friends before he comes back. If not, well, let's roll, and get you to a doctor or something. Grandpa can find the corpse later." said Ozzy. As if on cue, Mr. Gysbourne 'ported into the room, clapping slowly.

"An admirable performance, Oswald. It seems that your training did indeed pay off. Shall we, gentlemen?"

Ethan smiled. "A hospital will Be unnecessary I'm almost healed up." His wounds were healing at an incredible rate Ozzy could see the wounds sealing up and the bullets being pushed out by new flesh.

"Very well then, sir. Where can I take you? Oswald will deal with the authorities, and get these two brutes back behind bars... hopefully for good this time." said Oswald the Elder.

Ozzy, meanwhile, was calling the Derrton police. He made sure to warn them about the room filled with nerve gas, as well as to tell them about the size and weight of the two parahumans that were ready to be arrested. If necessary, Oswald would 'port the two captured paras up to street level, to make things easier on the local law enforcers.

"Cirandon Hotel Room 47 please." Ethan said politely.

"Of course, sir. Just a moment..." said Oswald, before 'porting Ethan to his hotel room.

Ethan Dissapears to his hotel room while the Mages Gysbourne waited for the local authorities who soon arrived as well as a couple DPA agents to take away the thugs taking Ozzy's statement before dismissing him.

The Mages Gysbourne aided the police to the best of their ability. Once they'd left, Oswald the Elder turned to his grandson.

"I believe it is time to tie up loose ends, Oswald. Let us make certain as to Shade's fate."

With that, Oswald cast a spell, searching for Shade. If he was still alive, he'd hopefully be found. If not, it would turn up nothing. Oswald was not exactly keen on possibly peering into Hell.

Oswald saw a land of darkness a dimension of pure shadow and a figure wrapped in a cocoon of shadow.

If at all possible, the Mages Gysbourne would travel to the cocoon's location. They were going to finish this now, one way or another.

Unfortunately the mages were having trouble opening a portal to the ShadowRealm almost as if somethign was blocking them.

If they couldn't go there, then Oswald would do the next best thing. He set up a monitoring spell focused on the cocoon. If there was any unusual activity there, he wanted to know about it, as soon as it happened. Sooner, if possible. Shade wasn't going to sneak out and pull another big prison break if there was anything they could do!

The manage to slap the spell on leaving them free to do whatever.

Satisfied, the Mages Gysbourne left Derrton the same way they'd come, teleporting out of the city and back to their own. They'd teleport to near the hospital, since Ozzy didn't want to bug Meg just for a bump on the back of his noggin.
