Otello led Hunter out to the Hedge Maze. He said "Eleanor usually ends up close to the center. I don't know exactly when she was taken, she was walking the poms for her 'quiet time'. I should have been with her!!" Hunter could see some disturbed hedges, and one rosebush that was all messed up.
"its not your Fault Otello, if you had ben there you would have been killed, You did the right thing in calling me." MOving to the bushes he isnpects the disturbed hedges and rose bush as well as the surrounding area.
Otello waited by the maze entrance. The scuffle marks were near the heart of the maze, and they indicated that Eleanor had been taken toward the back of the property. Drag marks, fibers caught on the thorns, a few hairs dropped here and there . . .
Hunter followed the drag marks to where they might have dragged her to. The property was huge, where would they get to the street? And if they didn't get her to a car then where would she be?

Re: Van Diemien House
The trail led to the alley that ran behind the rich estates. It was hard to tell which way they'd gone from there. Either way was a possibility.
Hunter stood for minute looking the alley over.. Following his gut instinct he headed to the right and putting his mask back on and drawing his bow, makes his way stealthily down the alley.

Re: Van Diemien House
There were a great many treadmarks in the dirt of the alley. And one rather oily set. That was not normal. These were wealthy people, they didn't drive into oily places, and get their cars filthy. Someone was around who did not belong . . .
Hunter aproaches the oily set ccrouching down and checking how fresh the oil was. IT made sense for the getaway car to be parked here the question was why was it leaking?

Re: Van Diemien House
The tracks themselves seemed to be laid out in oily stuff, a mix of automotive fluids and such. The logical places for an engine to leak or drip into, weren't oily at all. The vehicle had been driven through somewhere that had a lot of automotive fluids go through it.
"Hurm" HTe car had driven through some fluids taht implied a garage of some sort or other place where there would be automotive fluids but htat was assuming these were the right tracks. Frowning under the mask he moved onto the next set of tracks.

Re: Van Diemien House
There were five distinct different tread patterns he could distinguish, and at least one of them had been a rear-wheel-dually. So, something powerful, and some regular vehicles. And what was probably a motorcycle too.
The motorcycle and regular vehicles could possibly belong to the locals he knew one or tow rich folks that liked the feel of motorcycles.. SO his supects were probably the dula rear and the one covered in oil. But where would they go? Getting up from his crouched positon Hunterheaded back through the grden to where Otello was waiting. "They took her in the hedge maze looks like she might have fought back but they overpowered her, they then brought her to a vehicle out back. Is there anywhere in the area they could hide her? Abandoned buildings summer houses closed buisinesses?"
Otello nodded, and said "Let me go get the list. We sort of take turns watching each others' homes." With that, he went to his cubbyhole office, and came back with a handwritten, neat list of names and addresses.
Hunter takes the list from Otello and looks it over trying to figure out which would be the best place to hide a wealthy woman until the ransom was paid.

Re: Van Diemien House
There were half a dozen great places within a two block radius of Eleanor's house. And any one of them was a possible hiding spot!!! They started as close as four houses down, and there were actually THREE houses on this street alone. This message was last edited by the GM at 00:39, Fri 25 June 2010.
As Hunter was looking at the list, he caught, out of the corner of his eye, a fellow dressed all in black slinking along the alleyway, headed to the left, instead of the right as he had gone earlier . . .
Hunter takes a look at the list before turning to Otello. "I'm going to start with the closest ones and work my way out, I'll let youknow if I find anything." He then began heading twords his motorcycle.
