Clarissa nodded, still leaning against him, and said softly "Once they got me out here, I was scared for you.  Especially when Penny there sort of, well, she waved at those four that were around the car, and it was like they turned into stringless puppets, really stiff and sorta zombie-ish.  Sorta scared me a little.  From mad laughing and lunging to plodding silent zombies!"

Ozzy nodded, "Yeah. She just used her mind powers to sort of take them over for a bit, so they wouldn't hurt themselves or anyone else while they were under the effects of the gas. Soon as Meg gets 'em fixed, they'll be just fine. Though, I hear ya. I'm glad Penny's on our side. With her powers, she could be pretty @#$%'in scary as a villain."

He then smiled and said, "But, hey, now you don't have to worry. Everyone should be okay, and hopefully the bad guys will be caught. It's all worked out in the end."

"He's right...you guys did some great damage control in there," Victoria said. "Andy's fine...he's back at our place."

"We all did. Without you guys' help, I wouldn't have made it. I'm honestly just glad we were here. Who knows what would've happened if nobody would've been here? Darklight wouldn't have been here in time to save those jumpers, that's for sure." said Ozzy, hugging Clarissa tight.

  Clarissa nodded, and hugged him tightly.  And right about then, the little pink car her cousins drove came pulling in with a distinctly hurried driving style.

  She looked up, and giggled at the panicked expressions as her two cousins spilled out and rushed over, babbling at them at high speed.

  Meg had touched all four of the persons, and as she did, Penny released each of them.  But she was STILL sitting on the hood of the car the girls had taken to get to the mall.

Ozzy grinned as he looked at her cousins and asked, "I guess you heard what happened, eh? Thanks for leaving us. There'd be at least one person dead if I hadn't of been here. Maybe more, who knows? Chaos Butterflies and all that."

  Her cousins gasped, and asked "Seriously??  OH my GOD.  That's so, like, scary!!"

Ozzy nodded, "Yup. Glad you guys weren't here. Though, honestly, I'm just glad no-one died, as far as I know. This coulda been a lot worse."

  Megaira said quietly "There would have been several fatalities without us."

"We....as well as Darklight....we made a difference. I don't know about you, but it feels pretty damn good to know that," Victoria replied.

She went over to Penny and consoled the young girl. "Come on muchachita...we've had a big day. And I'm guessing the Shaolin Priest wants to teach you some things later on."

  Penny nodded, and said softly "Yes, I think it is time to go home."

"All right then...let's go gather Iris and be on our way. I think we've all had a big day," Victoria said, now starting to look for Iris.

Ozzy nodded, before looking off into space for a minute. He sighed and pulled out his phone, saying, "That was D.F. on the worm 'net. Apparently he needs me to get in contact with someone who's not on the worm 'net, and it's important. One sec."

With that, he called his Grandfather, a moment later, Ozzy's expression soured.

"Oh, beautiful. That jerkass that broke into Grandpa's house apparently has more 'pertinent information' for us or something. I wonder what he's gonna tell us next? That somebody is planning to use some kinda psycho-gas in Derrton? Or maybe the sky is blue? And then he can try to tell us to hang up our costumes again."

Apparently, Ozzy really didn't like whatever it was that was going on.

  Meg snorted, and said "I won't 'hang my costume' up.  I don't have an option, I was BORN to do this sort of thing."

Ozzy nodded, "Exactly. Dragon Fist is with him right know, though. He'll set the record straight, hopefully."

  Penny said softly "There is a great deal of things in motion.  Events are moving and the timelines are in flux."

Ozzy smirked, "When are they ever not? According to the infinite multiverse theory, every time anyone makes any decision, ever, that creates split universes in which other decisions were made."

He then smiled as he hugged Clarissa and said, "Man, I feel sorry for all those other 'mes' out there who didn't give you a chance, Clarissa."

  Clarissa smiled, and cuddled into his chest as she said "So do I.  Because I can be pretty darn pesky when I want to . . . . and I was right, you're definitely worth being a pest over."

Ozzy smiled and said, "Hey, I wouldn't call it being pesky. You were just being open and honest is all. Pesky would've been if I'd said no, and you didn't stop. Thankfully, I didn't make you have to be pesky to get it through my thick skull that I should give you a chance."

  Clarissa laughed, and said "Like I said, I CAN be, but I didn't HAVE to be.  I'm just saying you dodged a pest and a half!  And I am SO happy you said yes. . . ."

Ozzy smirked and replied wryly, "Just a pest and a half, huh? Michaela could probably teach you a thing or two, then."

  She giggled, and ran her fingers in a 'spiderwalk' up his ribs as she teased "You sure you want to say that?"  It TICKLED!!

He twitched and giggled a bit as she tickled him, "Heh... is... ha! Is this all you've got?"

  Clarissa laughed, and began tickling with a will, even as she said "Oh, I can be much worse!!"
