Yes, if you stay you will hinder me and might cause undue harm to me, the animals here, those that may show up and yourself.  Please go to the house, I will be along before morning.

Maki grumbled something. He did not believe he would be a hindrance. But he was the owner of the property they were on, so he decided to respect his request.

He nodded, then motioned with a nod to the others as well to follow him. He ran to the house and then knocked on the door.

"Mrs we ran into your husband.. and he as well said to go to the house. May we enter?"

Bruga follows Maki.

Senuviel greets his teeth and grabs Kree by his arm. The warrior/mage speaks, his voice loud because of the storm. Let's move to the house then, if the centaur speaks the truth, we'll be safe there, otherwise, we bring the place down! We can't afford quarreling in the middle of storm, Kree!

Clair, Snair and Yenchew follow to the house.

The door opens for you all, inside you see a Centaur, female with a cast on her front legs and crutches.  She is worn and looks very old.  Welcome she says, I told you to stay away form the barn,   Now set your things down and sit a spell, um I mean rest this storm will be done before morning.

the place is double the size then what it looks like on the inside.  Multiple rooms branch off the main living area, a huge cooking fire is in the middle with potentially hearths for each room.

Reading Maki's face, Churt will be fine, We have been doing this for a long while, I think tomorrow morning Churt can tell you all more about it.

she seems to be friendly then before, not sure why nit she smiles some too.

There is food cooking, vegetable stuff, no meats :)   Wine and water too.  cheese and bread.

there are old couches, wooden chairs and two rockers, racks of books and some arms and armor of all sorts hanging about.

She moves about in that clump drag walk way you heard earlier.

the storm is at it's full fury now, you must have gotten in just in time.  Looking out side the barn is not visible from the rain and no lights are shown but one on the porch, she indicates a continual light spell on that one, churts idea.

  Kree bows  his  head a bit  to The  LAdy ...Thank yuou for your  Kindness, I would apologize for my mis-trust  before...but it is part of my nature.

Senuviel takes off his cloack and hangs it by the door, the elf then greets the lady centaur. Thank you lady,  we'll see to ourselves  and make ourselves comfortable, if you don't mind. And in case you need any help, madam, we will be glad to provide it. Senuviel smiles at the lady centaur and then puts his backpack on a chair, his long bow, long sword and the gigantic 2 handed sword are leaning on the back of the same chair. He puts his shield on the floor near the swords.

Senuviel will ask Maki whether the paladin senses anything evil on the lady centaur as soon as Senuviel has some privacy with his companions.

Bruga looks around. Ma'am, I have small, deft hands. Is there work for them that will repay your hospitality?

she accepts any help cooking, it is all sorts of vegetables some uncommon and rare tasty treats.

Senuviel dries himself and changes shirts, he takes off his boots and wears his sandals. It's a long story, lady, it all started with slavery and treachery which leaded us to a weird dungeon then back to Lotan and to the tails of the hated slavers then we got to the swamp and a bunch of skeletons who turned out to be gypsies cursed by some unknown force which was hunting them down using orcs after helping the gypsies there was something about a vision and then we are parted ways with the gypsies and ended up around your farm. Any further details can be added by any of us here.

Senuviel then helps with setting the table for dinner.

After dinner, Bruga fills seven tumbles with varying amounts of water, takes four spoons (two to a hand), sets them on the table, and accompanies himself while singing the saga "The Seven Halflings and How They Grew," complete with belches and burps in the appropriate places.

Maki dons his armor. It was definately nice to be out of it. He leaves his shield nearby, so that he could grab that, should the need arise. His mace however remains by his side.

"I think Senuviel summed it up pretty good."
He leans closer to him and wispers. "You can relax. I don't notice anything out of the place."

She has beds made up or cots for all to sleep on.  Cramped but cozy.

  Kree will stay awake, his bow and Blade near him. He will sit  quietly , watching the door. He wil use this  as his rest, until such time comes to get reverie.

Senuviel stretches and yawns. Well, if you people don't mind, I'll rest a little, you should do the same, we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow. if any of you wants to stand watch, it is up to you, I believe we are safe in here. Well, good night dear comrades. The elf lays on a bed, yawns again and falls asleep.

Halflings don't snore; they do elbow those who do.

After some time passes, and Maki get's some rest, he will switch with Kree on the watch duty.

Near morning you hear footsteps then see the door open and Churt walks in - yes - walks in.  Looks to the group then his wife and sighs, The work is done for the night.  i will need to rest and walks into a seperate bedroom.

His wife sighs also, looks to those awake, it always happens, turning into the ugly human form after a storm.  He will turn back soon enough and be ready to answer questions and ask them as well.  I think he may know something about slavery activity.  I am not sure what but..   She also explains, Churt and I are Centaurs, Druids but we fight a battle no maybe help in a battle only we can fight.  If those like yourself get caught in the barn in the storms eye, you would have been changed into something.   As Druids we can change back to our original form easily - it is our natural abilities. Looks to the group, think polymorph and the affects.   Nasty stuff.

Breakfast is stacked high a full of the bounty that mother nature could offer (no meat though).

So, tell me about this slaver stuff you all have going on and I'll tell you a bot about this place in exchange.  I might be able to help but I am not sure yet.

  we have been Ill used by pretenders to the  crown..we have managed to aid some Gypises..but...the  Slaver  Boss...when we find him?..I will make certain, it takes days for him to die...

Senuviel does the same, goes outside and washes himself, he then studies his spells and sits for the breakfast. Thank you for the feast. As Kree has said, our errand is grim but no less important for people's lives are at stake here and the powers that be might be playing the fool on this case so we took it personally specially after all we have been through after the so called Holy Champions have stabbed us on our backs. The warrior/mage looks at Maki. No offense, Paladin. He then continues. So, as you can see, we're trying to do good but we are few and light on resources and information, the enemy is cunning and has powerful people on his side, so any piece of information you might have will sure help us in our campaign to destroy evil. The elf then sips some fresh water as he eats his salad an fruits.

Bruga makes himself (more) presentable, sits down, thanks his host and hostess, and proceeds to prove that halflings may be bigger on the inside than the outside.
