GM:
Might be handy to learn some at some stage.

I think we should have ask Emesh-Ga to teach the group some during our week in the ravine. :)

Re: 6th OOC Thread

I'm pretty sure it's just your characters that are amazed at the reception, but just in case, the Priestesses and Co are not acknowledging you lot but Tada, his consort and companions.

They do not see you for who your are whilst the ceremony is on, though of course they know who you are.

Re: 6th OOC Thread

The ceremony is about all of you so if you have something you wish to do please post, Tada can have his say when he gets a chance :)

Not every day you get to act as a God. Hard to appear suitably Divine, without sounding too corny or too much of a...dick!

Re: 6th OOC Thread

Like the new webcomic, btw. Couple of things spring out:-

1. The painted figure on the hillside reminds me of the Cerne Abbas Giant, only without his most notable feature!

2. Jar-Eel looks a lot like Amara. Should we be concerned?

Is there anything else you want to do in the ceremony? Are folks enjoying it? If not I shall wind it down in the Complex.

I cant think of anything else. I'm quite glad we didn't investigate those high llama tracks if they were the Babeester Gor.

Raven's here?

I'm enjoying this scene, it's a good IC reminder of what we're trying to do. Turn desert to the garden. Something our characters will always remember. Salen might even get a kiss out of it, if he's lucky.

I thought it might have arrived today as I had a missed post notice through the door, but it wasn't, instead it was my portable solar panel from another kickstarter I did

Re: 6th OOC Thread

Raven? Here? Gosh, who'd have thought he was a member of Tada's court!

I'm really enjoying it. I think that the ceremony might perhaps end in Tada taking his seat the head of a welcoming feast. Maybe there is some regalia, or a special cup, something that he is ceremonially given that is used by him to start the feast.

Re: 6th OOC Thread

The ceremony, or so I was imagining, would have you lot enter downstairs. Thus having Tada arrive. Emesh-Ga's wife will meet you all.

But apart from that I'd not planned anything.

A feast of sorts sounds good.

There's nothing here of Tada's though the Room that holds Emesh-Ga's tomb holds various boxes of stuff.

Ah, how about Tada gifted Emesh-Ga with something and that now resides in his actual tomb? Not seen before as it wasn't meant to be.

Re: 6th OOC Thread

Ooh, I just made a post, but yes a feast sounds like an excellent idea, as does the gift from Tada to Emesh-Ga.

Not planning always works for me, because I'm better at winging it. :D

Re: 6th OOC Thread

3 locations for us to visit :)

Copper Caves: These caves are the entrance of what was an extensive dwarf mine in the God Time. The Praxians avoid this place, claiming it is haunted by Mostali ghosts. Half way between Pavis and the Winter ruins.

Choke Hole: This natural drain in the Krjalki Bog is locked in a constant battle with the surrounding plant life. Once or twice a season, the ground itself coughs out the obstructions and clears itself, a sign that the once great Earth magic's of Genert’s Palace are not completely gone.

Chaos Box: This small coffin-sized box pops forth a monstrous Chaos foe every
Storm Bull Holy Day. The dangerous region between the Sandstorm Hills and Dead
Bottom are avoided by all except the Storm Bull cultists who are drawn here. On the side of the Sandstone Hills

And to prove that people outside of the Wastes and Prax are weird and strange, from one of the many East Islands.
Tjaratananna: Here women turn into snakes when they become pregnant, and crawl off to a secret cave to give birth. The children are raised by old people at the Sacred
Mountain in the island’s centre, and are sent away to the lowlands at age 15, banished from the mountain for fifty years.

Re: 6th OOC Thread

we could offer a rhino for the feast.
Gadesha could bring the goblet/drinking horn from the tomb (as Greeshar has the key), maybe from a Long Nose? (I'm guessing they were elephants) or possibly a horn from a narwhale, either would be big enough for a hero.

Ah wasn't the key left in place?  Do you remember Greeshar taking the key?

You have an ostrich.

Well that could work. Or you could use something from the room above the tomb.

In reply to GM (msg # 35):

a thought occurs to me, did Copperman get told by Big Mouth were was safe to step or can he see/detect dwarf made traps, if so he's going to become very useful :)

I thought the earth witch asked Greeshar to keep the key as the warding's don't effect Gadesha and no one else needs to go down there.
I didn't think the poor ostrich would go very far :)
