Maybe the Earth Witch sent word for the key to be returned as she defined that the tomb might be opened? All that was before my time so I don't know but a shame to put the sales on a good ceremony idea.

It is a magical ceremony, things are bigger with the aid of magic so I don't think we need to worry that an ostrich well not go far enough, I reckon that sacrificing something would provide enough.

I also thought as its probably the last surviving member of the Big Pecker clan it might get a stay of execution :) It will mean this is the second ostrich that has died for the good of the party, the last one was sacrificed to the Great Rhino.

As Gadesha moves through the ground, I'd have thought she could carry it with her.

Gadesha can walk through the Earth for sure, but lets say Greeshar handed the key over to you mob worried that he'd lose it. Gadesha is how shall I put it?....Insane.

Outside the ceremony the stairs you descended, some 50m or so, do not exist having been destroyed.

The key, a magical crystal, was made in the second age to circumnavigate the warding traps, but now through it's very existence is part of the myth.

Ohanzee the key is a small statuette of a voluptuous Square headed woman, Gadesha. The head is a crystal.

So you are limited in what you can do by your Runes

Observing things are down to those with Truth Runes or Sky for example.  Movement/change the Mobility Rune etc etc.

Of course you can attempt to do anything but certain things will be hampered by your Runes or lack off.

Remember that Sun Hawk sees through Raven, Raven befuddles Thunderbird and Thunderbird blows away Sun Hawk.

So Amara, could you 'deal' with Harett please :)

well my runes would dictate
1)Storm - I get upset about something and it's a glorious rage to see.
2)Movement - I dance, or upset the social order somehow by making Tada subservient.
3)Spirit - Something spiritual

So I dance for the group and it's so powerful a dance it invokes the spirits to watch and guard the place and it upsets Tada

Mine are:-

1) SKY - my head is in the clouds;
2) SPIRIT - I could use a drink;
3) MAN - "Man, why did I agree to pair up with Amara??"

I have a lot of anger issues.
It's ok, it's not me, it's my runes.

Having said that Salen upsets me just by breathing.
