Re: OOC, number 8

Need to get them in, which means getting the pigs sectioned off, herded out or killed. They don't sound controllable unless they've settled down after their snack? Gotta go through them to open the door so I'm guessing kill.

Plenty, recoverd the other 2.

Thinking is more along the lines of keeping the pigs. A lot of meat and it keeps fresh if it's alive. Not herd animals of course, so far better to eat them than slaughter a herd beast, but they are also pretty earthy type beasts. Might make good gifts, a whole feast on legs in each one.

When you go look at them each of you will realise that they are too feral to keep. They look and act insane. Anyone who approaches the wooden poles will be charged.

These aren't herd beasts.

Encumbrance

I've not been tough on this at all as i'd rather leave it you lot to work out whether you are over burdened or not.

What with new armour and weapons, some of you are over your comfort zone.

I'm not going to enforce it, but lets take into account what we're capable of doing and reflect it in our posts (if you want :) )

Plus as Amara pointed out, they have been fed people. I for one wouldn't want to eat them

OK then, missiles to deal with them, taking time to aim. Drag them out and let the fire or scavengers deal with the bodies.

Nice fire Tarnessh, have you thought of hooking up with Oakfed? ;)

:)

Though in some places bush fires are needed and part of the cycle aren't they? Preparing the soil, releasing seeds.

But yes I think Oakfed will have noticed this one.

With the use of the lance upstairs and missiles the pigs can be killed though it will take an hour to do so and  roll 1d20+10 to see how many arrows/bolts are broken.

Re: OOC, number 8

Going up and down the stairs reveals that the worn steps lean slightly in towards the hollow central column where there is a hole for each step. This allows rain to flow down and into a cistern on the ground floor.

23 broken bolts and arrows then. Seems fair to split them with a few people with bows. Salen has one, he can lose 7.

I'll try and check my enc when I get a chance. Henal will tke one of the bronze broadswords.

IIRC we can increase Strength up to the highest of Str, Con, or Siz so Henal could look at doing that when we next get some training time.

Absolutely. In fact, there are some trees in...I think California, that require forest fires for their reproductive cycle. The seeds don't sprout until they're "activated" by the heat of a fire. Fascinating stuff.

So yeah, you're welcome, guys.

Damn straight you're carrying me out of there, Hoskar. I clean my feet with my tongue, you know. It's been quite bad enough having a far better sense of smell than you and being stuck down here.

Oh dear. I'm talking to myself now what with posting from the cat and so on.

Will check my ENC - haven't done so for a bit but thought I was OK with the kit I carry.
GM - what's the total ENC of my Wyvern-scale hauberk? Wondering if that might be an issue. 3 to be the same as a "normal" 5pt Scale Hauberk, I assume...?

Edit PS: when I've paid up, I plan to relaaax. Maybe potter back down and retrieve pipe and tobakeh, but basically slump for the night.

I forgot about tracking encumberance and also about the effect of stealth. Ohanzee is not a strong lad. I'm going to say he takes the armour and wears it whilst riding, but will have to review if he wears it or not when on foot.
