He goes towards the direction of Afrezza, muttering silently as he goes along. He'll get him back, for sure. He's quite loud as he stumbles around, his hands waving in front of him.

Re: Battle Royale #5: Afrezza vs. Josep vs. Kazan vs, Lainadan

Fyi- I don't think you could ready a parry action last turn. You used a move action to approach Josep, then a standard action to attack. The standard action got interrupted by the climb, so you get repost it. That doesn't let you redo the move action, only the standard. So you could ready an action from where you ended your move, or you could use the standard action to move to me, but not both.

Correct me if I misconstrued something. Not a big deal either way- no harm no foul.

Re: Battle Royale #5: Afrezza vs. Josep vs. Kazan vs, Lainadan

OOC: it's mainly a vocabulary issue; parry is not a readied action, it's a reaction to an attack. Note that you technically should announce you are using it before the attack roll is made, so probably in a private line to a GM?

 Josep jumped from column to column and drew a rod mid-stride.
 He landed safely on the last column and cast his signature spell.
 Pointing a finger at the glittery rogue, he uttered the words of power and two freezing rays hit him in he chest, instantly turning him into a human icicle.
"Freeze! Literally."

 Turning to the dancing swashbucklers, he asked:
  "Are you guys done?"

 At some point, his hands had turned white, with leathery hide and two-inch nails sharp as diamond.
 Five images still hovered around him, crouching, hunching and waving with their rods and claws.

 Actions:  double move to B4 / Effects: none

DICE ROLLS:
 Josep Gavinho rolled 29 using 1d20+11 with rolls of 18. perception (after move action)

 Josep Gavinho rolled 25,14 using d20+7,d20+7 with rolls of 18,7. cold empowered scorching ray vs Lainadan (touch attack)
 Josep Gavinho rolled 19,12 using 4d6,4d6 with rolls of 5,6,5,3,3,5,3,1. rays damage (+50% +11  / +50% +9)
   -> if Lainadan is still blind, both rays hit for a total 66 cold damage
   -> if Lainadan is NOT blind, only one ray hits for 39 cold damage

 Note: that includes Lainadan having cover (AC+4).

SUMMARY:
Josep jumps from column to column and draws a rod. He casts Cold Empowered Scorching Ray which deals 66 (or 39) cold damage to Lainadan

OOC: there was an inconsistency in Josep's position - H8 on the map and  H10 in the text -- it doesn't change anything regarding cover and such, but if there's a complaint from someone, and you'd rather have Josep in the other spot (he would end his turn in C8 instead of C6), let me know. In both cases, Josep has a line of sight but Lainadan has cover.

Re: Battle Royale #5: Afrezza vs. Josep vs. Kazan vs, Lainadan

OOC: There was a private line to the GM with readied actions. GM can confirm if this is an issue.

Kazan is visibly shook by the attack, he overestimated his swordsmanship... Then again, bringing a sword to a spellfight did not seem to work for him in any of his fights so far...

"I'll show you how an European fights!!" Having said that, Kazan turns on his heels, goes in a corner and cracks a smokestick.

Ha! That made me laugh out loud, Kazan.

Afrezza raises an eyebrow in disappointment. He had let that one escape, and he held himself to account for it. Still, with 3 opponents this arena of columns is a dangerous place. One can't be too careful. At least he had reclaimed his personal space.

"Ahh, that is much better. But now I must teach you about littering. We don't drop foul items of trash in our pretty arena. Only blood should decorate the ground.... preferably yours."

He steps between two columns and focuses his magical energy.

Are we waiting for Lainadan or is he indeed dead?
 GM Arkrim rightly pointed out that he is entitled to a new save against glitterdust, should we wait for that?

 I'm asking because if he is dead, Josep is up, and after 1h from now, I won't get an other chance to post until Monday morning at best, but more reasonably Monday evening.

I would go ahead and continue as if he were dead. He posted his move and did not roll the save - I had twice described the saving throw at the end of the your turn. Then he was reminded a third time, and he still has not added a roll.

I am biased towards keeping things moving, but that is my inclination. How about you post, and if he comes back and rolls the save before 48 hours from Arkrim's reminder we will retcon it. If not, we are safe in moving forward.

OOC: I'm not really comfortable with this, but since this is my last chance to post for the next two days, I'll go ahead. If Lainadan does save vs Glitterdust within 48h after Afrezza's IC post, I shall repost.

 Josep considered the frozen rogue one last time and whispered:
  "And then they were three...

 He cast a simple spell and moved forward, looking down at the swashbucklers. His images were still mimicking his movements.
  "Swordsmen, settle your score... whoever kills the other will have the privilege of facing me."
 He flashed a toothy grin.

 Scorpion came close to his distant relative, and observed him with curious eyes.

Rolling your save would help us move along.
If you fail the save, then you are dead (killed by Josep's other ray), and we can just accept Josep and Kazan's move.

If you make your save then you are on the clock and can post your move that happens BEFORE Josep and Kazan's most recent post.

@AFREZZA AND JOSEP
DO NOT MAKE CALLS ON BEHALF OF THE GM. If another player asks for a ruling DO NOT make one for them. PERIOD. I should not have to explain to you why this is so important. Look at all this misplaced posting order. That's a foul for you too Afrezza. First fouls are just a warning, but seriously. Don't do that crap. Just DON'T. >_<

@JOSEP AND KAZAN
For the sake of moving this along, you do NOT get to redo your turns. Your turns stand as is right after LAINADAN took this last turn. So after L, J and K, it's now Afrezza's turn again. You guys DON'T HAVE to call the 48 hour rule, but if ANYONE does, it applies.

@LAINADAN
You cannot take two standard actions in one round. Smokesticks require you to burn them to be activated and a standard action. You're thinking of a smoke PELLET, which can be activated as ranged attack and part of a full attack:
http://www.d20pfsrd.com/equipm...ances#TOC-Smokestick
http://www.d20pfsrd.com/equipm...ces#TOC-Smoke-Pellet
Since you listed the smokestick first, that action will stand and the attack will not (not that it matters, but just FYI in the future).

@AFREZZA
You're up.
