The golem ran at the cowboy and in that instant prompted the cowboy to act.

He tossed Mr. Dancers aside and fired a flurry of fiery rounds which seemed far more then pistols should be able to fire. Soon the air was filled with the small plasma rounds.

The golem absorbed some of the punishment.

Allura cried out, "Nooooooooooooooo !" she moved to the front and grimaced.

Spending a plot point.  All the fiery rounds curve and slam into her instead of the others.

*Willingly leaving the scene by passing out defenseless.* Her body falls to the ground smoking with where the rounds struck her.

"What ? Why ? Why did she ?" He looks utterly confused.

Susan misunderstood, and obviously thought that the bullets veered by design of the shooter, not Allura.   She glared at the cowboy, eyes tearing up.
"You Bastard!!!  How COULD you?!?! "

Her grief, and tears, seemed to blind and distract her, though as she had the golem move forward clumsily.

Rory also tried to shield the others with his body but Allura was faster "Allura, stop!". The words were were futile and suddenly all the bullets seemed to turn towards her.

He did his best to assist Susan in her attack with a barely controlled telepathic attack.

He then rushed towards Allura, to check on her condition. "What did you do? Why?"

It was hard to tell whether Rory's question was directed at his unconscious friend, the cowboy or both.

Zoey landed on the floor next to Allura, having been standing next to her when she had been shot by the cowboy.  She used her Atlantean abilities to burst the pipes open and aimed the water at their enemy, freezing it around him.

The blast of magic came a moment before the clobbering fists of the golem.

The gunslinger cries out in much more pain then it seemed possible. He dropped his guns and gripped his head. Staggering about before getting lifted by the wave of water and washed against a wall.

As he hung there he slowly faded away.
"No, no, not this, not again ! Nooooooooooooooo !"

Only his guns were left spinning around on the ground changing back to regular looking pistols.

Zoey's eye widened as she watched the cowboy disappear. She turned back to her friend lying on the floor, "Allura! Wake up, please. You cant die on us."  She checked Allura over to see if she was still breathing and looked to for the bullet holes to stop the bleeding.

Zoey saw the bullets made of bone leaving Allura's body being pushed out. Flames flickered from her wounds.

"Oh." She stepped back and watched a moment, then suddenly realized they had all used their abilities in front of Mr. Danvers.

Zoey walked over to Allura's dad and extended her hand, "So, this is new."

Susan, who'd made such a big deal about secrecy, cringed at the thought that she'd just spearheaded outing them all to Mr. Danvers.
Tempted to bolt like a deer, she stayed to help with Allura

Rory watched as the bullets started poring out of Allura with a slight look of bewilderment on his face.
