Re: Round 2 - Action 1 - Phase 1

Hatfield McCoy:
Hatfield shakes his head, and says, "ah did promise you'uns a trick."
After some gibberish and waving, he points towards the fleeing thugs and a bolt of lightning sizzles from the sky to scorch the ground less than ten yards in front of the thugs. The clash of the lightning is accompanied by Hatfield's bellow, "YOU MISFITS GIT BACK HERE AND SURRENDER AFORE AH GIT MAD!"

Hatfield figures "I'll put the fear of ME in 'em"
Two actions for spell Call Lightning, attempting to intimidate the thugs into surrendering

22:55, Today: Hatfield McCoy rolled 34 using 1d100.  45% chance to intimidate thugs.

Sector 10 thanks your help. From now on they will take care of these outlaws.

Re: Round 2 - Action 1 - Phase 1

Once Crusader is clear of the vehicle, Puck casts Fear (Horror Factor: 16)* on the vehicle.   After that, he simply floats back to the jeep.

*Fear (Horror Factor: 16)
Duration: One minute (4 melee rounds) per level of experience
Saving Throw: Special; Save vs Horror Factor
The invocation creates a sensation of fear over a particular
area (20 ft/6 m maximum diameter of affect). The rnage can
place the enchantment on an area occupied with people, or an
area that is presently unoccupied. Anybody entering the area of
enchantment must roll to save vs Horror Factor 16. A failed roll
means the person is suddenly washed with terror and will be momentarily
stunned, lose one melee attack, lose initiative, is the
last person to attack, and can not defend against an opponent's
first strike. These penalties remain in force for each melee round
the person is in the area of fea.

The extraordinary ability of Crusader's entanglement pushes the whole bandits to be more careful trying to dodge the grappling hands (thus using regular dodge despite some of them have automatic dodge).

09:58, Today: Patricus rolled 9 using 1d20+7.  Uppercut's dodge. Entangled!!

Okay just to clarify, the only thing he can do while grappling is choke/crush. He cannot dodge, parry, nothing, only grapple and choke/crush.

Alloy, equally unable to see Hatfield as he executed his plan to free the hostage, undertook his own.

He put aside his plan to hit one of the erstwhile Body Shots with a running punch and instead stopped, causing a significant breeze, immediately next to Haymaker.

He looked down at her and smiled, well aware of the effect his empowered form had on some women, before speaking, "I really think your code name should have been 'Knockout'. Don't you?"

[Secret to Patricus: His chance to Charm or Impress is 60%

10:05, Today: Alloy rolled 8 using 1d100.  Charm/Impress She-Villain.
]

He almost casually reaches out and touches the arm she has wrapped around her hostage.

In seconds Haymakers entire body, except for her head, is encased in the same hyper-alloy metal that gave Hal his hero name.

09:55, Today: Alloy rolled 29 using 1d20+9.  To hit with Touch. NAT 20!!

Counts as 4 melee attacks.

I think I got her boss.

[Private to Patricus: This coating is not flexible like it is when he uses it to armor himself. She will have to break it to move at all.

It weighs just under 200 kilos and has an AR of 17 and only 50 SDC (But she would have to beat a 17 with limited bonuses to damage it.

Crusader guesses Lyndsey Rocker have already unlocked the door and without measuring consequences the elongating superhero enters the house and although in the beginning had some problems to pinpoint the villains, as he approaches to the house his radar starts gauging and shapes are clearer now.
He gets in the moment the spell is casted over those around Alloy, so it is easy for him to decide where to attack. He stretches and try to entangle those two that are still on the loose.

Round 1 - Action 1 - Phase 1

The claws withdrew, and with lightning speed Night Skull drew the heavy rifle slung on his back with practiced ease. He managed to pin down through thermo-imagery the one yelling about her voice, guessed that was Scream Queen, locked his targeting onto her, rounded the corner, and planted a three round burst into her. "Face down, all of you!"

Perhaps his own experience in "law enforcement" was showing, but he was trained back home to shoot first and then demand surrender, to let the other side know you were serious about shooting them.

21:44, Today: Night Skull rolled 31 using 8d6.  Potential damage from burst.
21:40, Today: Night Skull rolled 18 using 1d20+3.  Three round burst from M16A4 at Scream Queen.

Probably a hit, and probably 31 damage to Scream Queen.
Future initiative increased by +1. I should probably get some "normal" ballistics so I can get a +3 when speed is needed.

Also, everyone who sees me, knows who I am, and isn't on our team rolls Horror Factor 8, barring a reason not too. Let's see if we can't demoralize our way to victory.

Action one of five remaining.
