Justice Front #1

Those who get to the booth see what is really happening:

Spoiler text: (Highlight or hover over the text to view)
A group of brigands are intimidating the sellers from a high profile vendor booth. You can see one of the members of the staff is hit by one of the brigands as two of them are taking into a suitcase several high end CGCed comic books from the golden and silver age, pretty casheable stuff.

Unseen, Hatfield shakes his head in disbelief. "Of all the ignerent crap, the dipsticks are pulling a crime surrounded by representations of vigilantes."
Walking boldly up to the two stuffing the comics into the bags, Hatfield waits till one of them isn't looking in the other man's direction, and then slaps him.
He is attempting to get the thugs to start fighting, so as soon as the unslapped person looks away from the previous target, Hatfield will slap them, too.

The slapped one starts looking around in total surprise, but few seconds later it seems he has deduced what is happening, then addresses to one of the brigands who is the most elegant of them all.

Knuckleduster thermal scanning, possible invisible superhuman.

Knuckleduster starts moving towards the place his partner is, his movements are rigids and one of his eyes is an actual eye size light bulb.

Thermal scanning concluded, positive for invisible superhuman, location: 3 o'clock from you.

Lex grabbed a mask and some gloves from a display and slid under a covered table where he could change. He put Alana(mera) down so she could change too. LC found his way under as well.

"Listen, I'm having trouble, the crowds and motion are making it difficult for me to get a handle on this. I need to know what is happening so I can come up with a strategy."

Loose Cannon goes after Crusader looking also for a place to change, having the advantage (just have to remove everything he has on) goes immediately out the table to try to see what is going on and return to Crusader with the information.

Not hundred per cent sure, but it seems a robbery.

Crusader nodded, "Okay, we have to get the Hatfield out of the line of fire. See what you can do about that, I will try to provide the bandits with another target." Once changed he will spread out as much as this place will allow and use his body to distract the bandits.

Most attendants have moved to a relative safe distance although many of them remaining seeing and some daring are recording the robbery. The booth is occupied only by the invisible McCoy, the six brigands and a couple store staff who look with impotence how the robbers take their merchandise.

While Scarlet may not have her full costume, she does have her mask in one of the pockets of her oversized coat. Pulling it out, she slips it on and shrugs out of her coat, exposing her four arms. Rushing toward the booth with the punks currently robbing it, she snarls at them a bit. "Hey! What do you think you're doing? Give those back, now!" Each of her right fists is punching into her left hands as she waits for the punks reactions to her command.

One of the brigands, the one who seems to be the leader adressess to Scarlett Wolf.

I think you are not aware the trouble you are getting into sister. Your extra arms mean nothing for me, we have put out of work A-list super humans.

The brigand leader looks how the rest of the team starts approaching to the booth, their characteristics tell him this is not a normal group of attendants.

I am pretty sure you are not cosplayers otherwise you would be now in the same spot all those curious are now. You want to play the superhero game? Well, we will provide the villains for the show. Nobody messes with The Body Shots.

Hal dropped the doors on the floor to make certain the exit way was clear if it was needed.

Some folks hadn't left and he wasn't going to waste time trying to make them. Grown ass people could do what they chose.

He turned, stripping off his "Justice Machine: The Movie" t-shirt and handing it to a slightly chubby girl dressed in a "Blazer" cosplay.

"Please take care of that. They're real damn hard to find in my size."

That said he headed in the direction of the rest of the team.

Waiting just long enough for Crusader to step aboard the Segway version of Alana zips out from behind the tables and makes a few quick turns that are more than a little bit faster than a normal version of the tiny vehicle can manage.  Zooming into the booth with the villains she slams herself, and whoever may be riding, into the one doing the talking and or taunting.

Scarlet snarled at the one talking to her, about to go confront him personally when Crusader came riding in on a segway?! That must be Alana, the segway. She was pretty impressive in what she could transform into. Hearing what Crusader said, Scarlet cracked her knuckles, both sets and got ready for battle. "This is going to be fun. Let's get em, team!"

Edited to add: 18:40, Today: Scarlet Wolf rolled 10 using 1d20.  Initiative.

Re: Justice Front #1

After Alloy encases Haymaker putting the hostage in safeness, the combat ends abruptly when a group of almost 30 Sector 10 operatives get into the convention hall, they act fast and request the super humans holding the brigands to deliver to them, something Crusader and Alloy do.

The arrest is made very swift and effectively. The attendants to the convention returns little by little clapping and cheering the super heroes.
The leader of the operation approaches to the boys of Justice Front asking for a registration number, it seems that is the protocol for law enforcement when dealing with super humans.

Alloy talks prudently to the officer who after a friendly conversation, explains that their intelligence sources had informed the fugitive group The Body Shots were looking to flee the country and their patron was a mobster boss in Century Station who collects high end antiquities specially pop culture ones so they made an arrangement: the comics for their scape as he has the right contacts to make it possible. The agent explains that extreme measures have been taken for the villain super team to be delivered to Gramercy Island as soon as possible.

The Sector 10 officer, recommends The Justice Front to register.

I could arrest you right now but that would be unethical to say the least. You made a great job, really neat and sound, no one resulted hurt and that is a merit coming from legionnaires.

Minutes later the organizers of the event tell the public the convention have to be suspended due to now the place was a crime scene, this is not well received by the attendants but the law is the law and people have to move out. Organizers promise "some" refund to the people willing to do the process.

The team members are just to leave when the seller from the booth in which Alloy was buying the comic-books approaches to him with the almost raffled Justice Machine #1 CGCed comic.

"I know you wish this comic-book bably, the event has finished and my plans to make a sweeptake have been foiled, I want to say thank you in the name of all the vendors in this convention not only for avoiding the robbery but for saving that girl's life. Please accept the comic as a gift".

Crusader would rather have been anywhere but here. He wanted to just relax but these thugs had made things impossible. He left a few dollars for the mask and gloves. He made his way out of the convention, smiling at Alloy's good fortune. "Well Justice Force, job well done. Lets try not to get into any more trouble today."

"Thank you sir. This is amazing! I'll try to get by your shop some time to see what else you have."

He accepts the atta boy from Crusader with a smirk and a laugh.

Loose Cannon was already in his "civilian" clothes and seeing the joy of Hal approaches with curiosity to see what was he seeing with such an attention. LC stood in front of Hal looking at the back cover of the comic, the art attracted his sight since reminded him of those fantasy tales he read when lived in the Genesys facilities.

Hal! Did you win the comic!? Oh Dungeons and Dragons? What is that? Some fantasy novel?

Sounds complicated.

The lone beggar shrugged and started walking home.

Sunday is not a good day for begging, I better go home.

Hatfield had taken advantage of the remainder of his invisibility to get away from the crime scene, making it easier for Alloy to represent everyone. After fading in, he joined the others at the exit. "So, that was a convention? I kinda expected men wearin' fezzes on little motorcycles, but I guess they don't do that here."

When the fighting comes to an end the errant Segway at long last comes under some semblance of control, stopping first its spin, then rolling only slightly before it comes to a rest next to Crusader, easy to reach and or step aboard but not in the way.

Scarlet was happy to see the end of the fight and the hostage safely released once again. With no civilians getting hurt and no property damage Justice Front were able to stop the Body Shots and save the merchandise they were trying to take. Job done and released by Sector 10, Scarlet followed the others towards the exit of the convention center. "So, anyone got plans for the rest of the night? Now that we've saved the day again and all."
