Candy was   looking Between  a   ESN Blue Purple  that had  silver   swirls.. That  looks  great!.. Its gonna be a hit, for sure!

   Dusk seemed a little   sad  as  she tried on a Metallic , dark Green, with open  back, and  above the knee.

  Frans  and  Gia  were working their   make up  as  Eckels    did some   hair   'master pieces"

"Oh. yes." Madison agreed with Candy, "Definitely go with the crimson. The yellow would just drag down your complexion."

After finishing up in the mech compound she had returned to her quarters and took a shower before changing into some of her more feminine underwear, something she didn’t have much of, a pair if jeans and a vest top, with her all the while nervously awaiting a response to her message from Meari.

In the end Tarja would leave her quarters and head up to officer country, knowing that if she waited too long, and there was a very real danger of her doing that, that she would miss the boat entirely and not go. And as much as a relief as that would be it didn’t exactly help her meet new people and improve her rather limited social skills.

And so Tarja would rather nervously approach Captain Si’s quarters and enter. Whereupon she would find herself greeted by the sight of a large group of women in various stages of undress, and more glamorous dresses than she’d seen in a lifetime. Needless to say she find this a little much and so would drift over to the side table and help herself to a glass of wine with her still half expecting to be told that she wasn’t supposed to be here and to leave.

  The Door Opened again, Cinsy Luv  and Toni  Rager   gave   Si and  Hug  and were on their  ways  to their  quarters  so nothing happened to their look.


 Belle , Ellen , Cora  and Scarlett  entered.

  Captain  Si greeted  them as the woman moved to the Dresses like  kids on Christmas Morning.  Si stopped at the table to refill her wine..Tarja   Yes?  You must forgive me.. Oilver  and I try to know everyone who comes  aboard, but  the  time leading up to the ttack on  Paradise, and  the  time  back.. , I must confess  I fell behind....The SM and LC  also handle  our  'new folks"  when they come aboard..but they have been doing  some extra  things awa well. I am glad you came..  I am certain you will like the dresses .

 Meari had left the Rec Dec and was in her quarters when she got Tarja's message, she didnt respond she just got ready then headed for the Captain's Quarters. She saw Tarja and a few others enter and then she followed in.

 Meri walked up beside Tarja in her robe, and said," I was very happy when I got your text I am glad I got here about the same time you did. This is your first time." Meari smiled then said to Captain Si," Thank you again for this Captain Si, and I will show Tarja around and how tings are done." Meari smiled and then added," Ok we need to find you a dress. now you have a color in mind, I will probably go a shade of purple."

 Lizzy got changed as Sam appeared and talked with Izzy, Lizzy got into the dress and she filled it out a bit more than Izzy, and it looked great on her. " Yes we need shoes and some makeup and we are good to go."

 Lizzy then saw Captain Capshaw come over and she gave her a strong hug back, and she was still in awe a little, she was her hero growing up and now she just hugged her. " So good to see you again as well Captain, you are getting a dress for the Ball, I cant wait to see you in it." Lizzy was still nervous around her hero but she held it together but was squeezing Izzy's hand most of the time.

 Sam went to the smaller ladies' section and began looking for a dress that jumped out at her. Sam watched as more ladies came in and was amazed how many took art and Captain Si this this all for them.

 As Sam was looking for her dress Captain Capshaw went and visited Izzy and Lizzy. Sam was having a hard time finding a dress this time around, she couldn't decide on a color.

  Beth  was  looking at herself in the mirror , wearing the Lt Blue, above the knee..Hey, Sam... you figure out  a Stlye  yet?

 Traci  laughed   with Lizzy  and said,well?   I don['t know how much  i'll take from your  Ladies  with  one Silver  arm. but  i'll do my best to Keep  up.

 Dusk  settled  for  the  Metallic Green...she looked at traci ,...at lest all  you ladies have skin that stays one color... Shade  found Videos of an eight legged creature on earth , that live sin the  ocean and  they have colors  flowing over them as  we  do.

 Sam smiled and replied," I havent even got past a color yet actually. I usually wear blues what else goes with my looks?"

  beth giggled...A whole lot of guys?

   Maria  popped her head a round the  dress  racks...why  don't   you try one of the shades of Purple., 'eh ? It wil draw  eyes...

 Sam almost chocked on her drink as she laughed, then replied," No Beth I am fine on the guy department Zob is plenty enough for me to handle." Sam giggled and gave Beth a wink.

 Sam smiled and replied," Thank you Maria I will look for a shade of purple, style, lets show off some skin for Zob shall we." Sam then went looking for the perfect dress.

It is ma’am, and that’s quite alright I imagine you’re both extremely busy” Tarja replied feeling her body automatically stiffening to attention despite neither of them being in uniform ”…yes, I was…encouraged…to attend, so this will be a new experience for me” she politely replied, not really wanting to say that she wouldn’t know a good dress from a bad one or even where to start, with her nervously taking a sip of her wine.

Thankfully however Meari would arrive at this point to take her under her wing ”It is, last time wasn’t really the best of times for me” Tarja replied, explaining why she hadn’t shown up for the last ball, not that anything had really changed since then other than the fact that they weren’t going to a planet with a nature reserve near to where they were staying.

Following Meari over towards the racks of dresses Tarja would eye them nervously like they were some kind of new and totally untested combat gear she was expected to wear, with her giving Meari a flat look in response to her question about colour ”Meari…I haven’t worn a dress since I was twelve and I seem to recall it was a summer dress with a floral pattern, I have never seen dresses like this before let alone imagine wearing one” she said pausing to examine a long silvery gown before moving on, hoping that Meari might be able to offer a little guidance.

 Meari smiled and replied," I understand, lets start a new and begin here." Meari looked at Tarja then replied," Well I am not the greatest either at picking out dresses, I am a warrior I do not dress up often but it is fun and the dresses are amazing. Come we will find one for each of us, you will look amazing I guarantee it." Meari would then look around at the larger dresses and also tried to help Tarja find a dress that would look great on her.

Nikki looked through the vast wealth of dresses the commander had.  So far nothing was catching her eye.  "Don't know if I am going stag or not" she said to whoever was listening "Mitch and Benny have been on patrol lately, so he has not asked me and I ain't had a chance to ask him either" she shrugged. she thought she might go soft in style, not the bold sexpot like the last gala, not that that one wasn't fun. she went over to Franz and the other ladies " I brought some hair paints and that glittery lotion" she laid them down, then went back to the dresses.  It took some looking but she found one she rather liked and slipped behind a screen to try on.

Jug was stunned by all the fabrics.  "thank you Captain.  I was curious and nervous. I will be very careful with the angel silk" though she was a bit wary of finding a 'dress', but she had an idea of what might work.  as she very carefully looked, she was a bit bewildered.  seeing Meari and a few others she tried stay positive "Hello Sgt. Meari" she smiled her toothy grin "May I ask you for help?  This is my first time attending in such clothing" she asked a bit sheepishly.

Despite Meari’s reassurances there was still an uncertain look in her eyes at Meari’s comments that it was fun and Tarja would look amazing. Though if anyone was able to find something suitable for her to wear it would be Meari as they had a similar muscular build as one another, with the vest top she was currently wearing showing off her strong, muscular arms ”I am thinking the gowns would probably look silly on me…so perhaps something shorter?” she suggested, feeling that she should probably add something to the proceedings ”…and maybe a darker colour?” she then added upon spotting Lizzy and Izzy in their bright red dresses.

It was as she was having this particular train of thought that they would be approached by an extremely short woman, with very sharp teeth, who she vaguely recognised from the hangar dec but was uncertain as to whether they had ever met ”Mine too…basic training did not prepare me for this” she said in a sympathetic voice and with the look of someone that would be far more comfortable storming an enemy trench.

Nikki came out from beyond the clothing and took a bit of a spin.  she looked at Captain Si "Looks good. I was going for a more softer look this time" sedated color, more ease of flow, more approachable.  she loved the color changing dress but she wanted to be different this time out.  Plus she could hide weapons more easily. In the tree way mirror that was set up she then looked. she mentally checked her boxes in her mind.  Then she nodded. "I think a soft gentle French braid"

before her hair and make up she moved to help Haley.  She noticed Jug being lost like a lamb in a herd of bison.  she smiled gently overhearing her comments then Tarjas. She came near "don't worry ladies.  We are all here to help each other.  and the captain won't let us leave until we are gorgeous"
she looked at Tarja first being about the same height "Tarja you have a long torso and limbs. Perfect for a corseted look and no sleeves. beautiful eyes, perfect for a smoldering eye make up" If others had ideas they could voice it and help her. Nikki just wanted to help get her started on what might help her.
she then looked at Jug. "Hello, I'm Ens. Nicole Rutledge... You can call me Nikki" she shook her hand. "This is my Ward Haley.  You two are close in size and I'll help you as well" Haley smiled and shook her hand as well "you have beautiful skin colors.  We can find something. and your braids are so long" she kept it positive so both would be comfortable and welcomed.
Haley looked close at Jug "Ooo... this purple color is pretty" she showed Nikki "Miss Jug, I think you would look good in this color" It was a jewel tone purple.
"that is a pretty color" Nikki replied

 Meari smiled at Jug and replied," Of course please come join us Jug, I will help as much as I can."

 Mearu smiled at Tarja and replied," Very well a Darker color we will look for. Maybe a dark blue or dark purple?"

"Excellent choice Madison" she glanced about and noticed her black and silver number.  she held short and long dresses up in different styles and colors.

”oh…in that case we may be here for a while….” Tarja drying responded to Nikki’s assertions that Tarja wouldn’t be allowed to leave until she was gorgeous. It was probably also the first time anyone had said she had beautiful eyes…or at least the first time a woman had said so prompting a slight flush to appear on her pale cheeks in response ”could you help me find such a dress…in a dark blue, maybe?” Tarja asked, looking between Meari and Nikki for a little help, not really knowing what she was looking for, only knowing that pale and pastel colours against her pale skin would make her look like a ghost.

”Oh I don’t know, your arm is actually rather fetching” Izzy said as she went through the selection of shoes looking for a pair in her size and hoping that she wouldn’t have to resort to the children’s section ”….it gives you a bit of a “tough girl” look, besides if I can get a girl with these you certainly won’t have any problems, isn’t that right Liz?” Izzy continued, indicating the scars on her face and neck before excitedly retrieving a gorgeous pair of stiletto heels in her size that would give her the desired boost to her height.

 Lizzy smiled as she also found a nice sexy pair of red pumps, she then smiled at Traci and replied," Izzy is right, I think it gives you this really cool vibe, and what you went through to lose your arm Captain was heroic." Lizzy looked up to Traci not just because she was hot and sexy as hell, but she was in it to win it and gave up a lot for the ESN and the war.

 Lizzy then put on her shoes and looked at herself in the mirror.

  Sam was gone for a little bit, but she was hunting for a dress she wanted to look really awesome for Zob. Sam then finally found a dress, she tried it on then showed it to Izzy, Nikki, Lizzy and the others.

 Sam then said," Ok how does this one look on me ladies?"

Jug was still a bit lost, but happy to be accepted. "Most Gavas have different skin patterns, better to held hid at times." as Haley and Nikki looked at her arm. "Someone once said my tummy was 'mustard' colored.  I not know then what mustard was" she shrugged she went to look for the purple that looked like some on her arms and legs, with Haley and Nikki and a few others.

Nikki helped Jug and Tarja in looking for just the right outfits. "I'll see what I can do...okay amethyst purple for Jug and a sapphire blue for Tarja... because ladies... we are all jewels" she smiled. "Haley think I found something for you but give me a moment" she held up a finger to wait.
"Okay" Haley replied looking at the ladies getting hair done up in braids, colors, and updos.

"Tarja try this one" she pulled it out from behind an orage floofy ballgown.


still looking she thinks she found one for Jug. "We can dress this one up I think would be perfect.  Jug, you like?"
