Leticia finds the tracks initially difficult, hence the locals initial failure but she soon manages to note the subtle disturbance caused by the vehicles passing. She track for nearly two hours before the tracks lead to a shallow creek crossing. The stones make it hard to follow the track, impossible even, but the number of options are few with the thick undergrowth.

Second tracking roll to pick up the trail again. Actually, roll 5 rolls, failures can be repeated, but not critical failures.

You track what appears to be a grav raft for about 8 hours, before you loose the tracks in the failing light. The reacks lead along a valley that is heavily overgrown, across several streams. it is almost as if he did not want to be tracked.

Ok. The nearest safe area is a clearing about 15 km away. It is a wide open plateau with good visibility. It will take about 2 hours each way on the grav bikes.

As that's what Sdian directs then that's what we do.

Grav Bikes? I thought the scout ship picked us up and we spent the night... ten it put us back down where it had picked us up...

The scouting team were on grav bikes. If you are picking them up, you will need a clearing to land at least the shuttle in .. though if you are picking them up directly you will need a bigger clearing for the whole ship.

I don't think you specified if on foot or not, so I assumed the fastest mode possible. But if you were of foot, you would be slower, happy to run with that if you wanted to.

We were discussing the camping options above, looking for a clearing to land in. It was stated that for the shuttle, there was a spot nearby that would work (say withing 10-15 minutes), but for the ship, for all of you to land, you would need a bigger clearing, about 2 hrs away.

OK< we are working with the shuttle... the Minnow II is not around. We can sleep aboard the shuttle safely.
We can start out in the morning from where we left off.

I'll pass the buck to Leticia as to how we are tracking (Grav Bike or on foot).
