We're waiting for Nezumi's post, and by the looks of it, Jhaartael has bowed out?

I was waiting for Jhaartael but if they don't exist anymore... Well I'll post as soon as I get my computer hooked back up. I'm preparing to move and have it broken down until I move. Should be less than a month but hopefully only a week or two.

He appears to have ghosted and left yes, I am seeking a new soul as we speak. That is rotten but it is what it is.
I will hopefully have someone soon, but since we are at the start of combat it is unfortunate timing.

I'm currently looking at probably having my PC set back up on the 24th. If needed at that point I can set up a Leader character and just play both it and Nezumi. It would probably be a warforged cleric built entirely for healing.

If the DM is willing to scale the encounters down for a smaller party and we're willing to alter our approach to combat a little, we don't need a leader at all. Or any particular role, if someone wants to play a leader instead. The only party composition that maybe wouldn't work in 4th Edition is one with more than a couple pure defenders.

Umm, we have a Leader. Rynoth is one.

The encounters would need to be scaled down without another player though.

Alrighty, I've got my bus pass now. I should be moved and have my pc set back up by end of day the 22nd at the latest, mid-day on the 21st at the earliest.

As Nezumi is out until the 22nd, and combat is starting, how do we all want to approach this. I can bump and re-advertise tomorrow, but we still lack her, so combat will be odd for a week at least. Alternatively Nezumi if you can advise a round of actions for me, I can NPC you until then?

If I had access to her sheet enough to advise a full round of actions including accurate numbers I'd be able to just post myself. I'm sorry for causing a delay for everyone. I have her original Level 7 sheet on my phone but not her updated level 8 one. If you want I guess I can look and see if I can find a "change log" in here and make posts using a rough guesstimate of what she should have until I get my computer hooked back up in a week...

I just looked at what I have on my phone/in this thread. I don't have enough information to know exactly what I have at all. The sheet on my phone is from right when she joined the group and I only have partial information on one of the feat retrains she took with our level up.

Since we have no idea, you could just make your best guess.

Well, I know one of the feats I dropped was the +3 to attack rolls of AP attacks for reduce target's relevant defense by 1 until end of next turn on hit with arcane at-will. Not sure what the other one was though. Attack rolls would have gone up by 2 between the ASI and half level changes while damage would've gone up by at 1 from the same.

Round 1: move into position, minor shift to human form, standard unraveling 1d20+15 vs AC for 2d4+8 physical damage, 7 cold damage, Vul 3 cold, -1 AC (white lotus ennervation), and 5 additional phys damage if target attacks Nezumi (white lotus riposte). (Non-damage effects last until the end of Nezumi's next turn) on crit rolled bonus damage is 2d4 phys +2d8 cold. (High crit plus enhancement)

That doesn't include whatever item I picked after the most recent quest but it does include her gloves from the first one and the bonus from her wand that the gloves cause to trigger.

I think that should be good enough for the week. If more than one round happens just drop the minor action and focus down one target at a time.

I will make a small chart for myself of initiative modifiers, roll for you all asap, and update the post in game to allow you to just go ahead with actions. Will take an hour or so.

Just realized that NEzumis sheet only exists in PFD form, and I can not find my copy...any chance you can quickly advise your initiative modifier?

I have my computer back and the dice gods have blessed me with a glorious return to active duty with that crit. Absolutely worth my AP, item encounter, and item daily for that turn.

It feels like RPOL has been in a slump since the new year. I don't know whether it's that, or if the new-and-improved version of the site didn't go over well, or whatever else, but it's not just this game or system.

Okay, since we're rearranging our initiatives a bit:

Khalid, the two AC bonuses won't stack, but you can convert the Resistive Formula right away to get the THP because you're probably going to be his target if you mark him. And a shift W will get you into flanking position if you want/need that - or maybe you're planning to teleport somewhere else!

Just a clarification - I expect you all to be level 9 post this - if you have not already advanced or ensured your sheet is upto date, following combat it will be a good idea to ensure such. I will advise within the thread when that is.

"This" as in this combat, or the town/tower? A one-battle level-up seems a bit abrupt, but if that's the plan...

Just read my notes - did you just level up? I may have mistyped something into my notes that does not match up. If this is the case, please ignore my above update - sometimes things like this happen.
