The dwarf says, "I had hoped joining Tarimar would be a rise in fortune to help my family, but many have treated Tarimar's group like its own clan, one free of morality and one where only the lineage of orcdom matters to count one an enemy."
As he talks, he sees you prepping the earthrocs, and you see him do a mental calculation.
"When Maellarean told us to hurt a fellow dwarf and leave him to bait you out, I could not do anything but follow. But he was wrong, and many of Tarimar's most trusted men are likewise wrong."
Prump rises to his knees, slowly gaining his strength.
"I will make it up to you," he says to Prump, then to everyone. "To all of you." He takes the axe and warhammer, one in each hand, and climbs to the top of the rocks. "If I can hold off the demons long enough for your escape, perhaps I will be redeemed."
He stands perched atop the rocks watching.
Meanwhile, you all manage to get the earthrocs ready and Prump gets some strength back in his body.
Then the dwarf says, "They come!"
You remember it is about a 1 minute walk from the edge of the trees to the rocks. You throw your things over the earthrocs just to the east of the rocks and look back.
Through the trees steps the soulsorrow demon, along with its clawed companion that had been so fast and quick.
Above you come about 20 more winged demons. One of them holds in its talons a familiar looking death knight, a long blade in its hands. It points a bony finger towards you.
Meanwhile, the whole sky has been blotted out by a cloudcover of ash and sulfurous smoke rising from the volcano. You will have to fly less than 200 feet above the water to remain safe, and even then, falling ash and rock could hit you.
The flying demons squeal and head in your direction. They are about 30 seconds away, and the larger demons are about 1 minute away. The lesser Soulfeeder demons are also converging from the woods and trees, creating a mob of demons.
