Anlisade nods.  "For that, you shall have the amulet, our weapon, and my sons at your side tomorrow."

Stepping aside with Borimer, Adaran speaks quietly with him while the others discuss the matter of resurrecting Anlisade's dead sons.

"Shall we shake on it then? Or do the dwarves have a different gesture for sealing a deal?" he asked curiously, offering his hand if the other man agreed.

Re: The Traitor - Nimith (Kahan, Adaran, Nimith)

Anlisade shakes hands, calls down, and has one of his dead sons brought up for healing.  Kahan raises him and Anlisade thanks Kahan with a tear in his eye before telling his son to rest.  He then says, "The hammers of my sons and myself are yours, except the two who are being raised will be too weak to fight tomorrow.  We should let them rest."

"I completely agree. I will be back at sun-up, hopefully before the fighting starts." Kahan replies, nodding as he turns to the others. "Now I think we can return to the great hall."

Anlisade says, "My sons and I will meet you at the promenade.  That's where I understand the groups will be gathered to get their assignments."  He looks down at his sons with a frown.

"There's no reason to have any regrets, Anlisade. The spell will work just fine after but a single day, and your son looks hale enough to handle being revived. Unless there's another reason you would be regretful?" he asks quietly, giving the dwarf a discerning, but equally concerned, gaze.

"No I think that you will honor part of you agreement now Anlisade, I have vouched for you and my friends have raised one of your sons.  I have no desire to come back down looking for you again.  I think our actions and words have proven our intent to you.  We haven't the time to wait for you to arrive at your convenience.  Hand over the amulet now and you can have a few of your sons to remain to make sure that we keep our word, and the holding of the amulet will assure that you keep your word in the matter." Flint still seemed suspicious of the dwarf.

Re: The Traitor - Nimith (Kahan, Adaran, Nimith)

Arthure has his own suspicious of the dwarf but kept quite about them.  There is nothing he can act on now.  Also he probably will just make matters worse.  It just struck him as odd that the dwarf would start running now.  Also he had a feeling if his sons had lived he would have ran.  The only reasons why he is still here is because his two sons died.... Unless one of the sons is also a traitor and his contact.  Maybe had information that Tarmir needed and with out it some deal could not be honoured... He just shook his head to many stories around the fire.

Re: The Traitor - Nimith (Kahan, Adaran, Nimith)

"Regret?" he snaps.  "Who said anything about regret?  I am putting the lives of my sons in the hands of strangers tomorrow for a useless battle against swine who care not about anything of value."  He turns to Flint.  "And now you make further demands on me?  I begin to think my trust was misplaced."

He turns to Kahan, who raised his son from the dead.  "Cleric, if I have your word that you will raise my son tomorrow, I will gladly give over the necklace now.  But not to this man who killed him."  He points an indiscriminate finger toward Flint.  "And tomorrow in battle, we shall be at your command, not his."

He removes the necklace and, if Kahan gives his word, he hands over the necklace to him.

"I swear to raise your dead son tomorrow before the battle. You have my unconditional word." Kahan replies with a solemn nod, taking the necklace once it's handed to him.

"Then on the morrow at dawn we meet at the palisade."  With that, Anlisade bows and crawls into the hole.  "We have a lot to do in preparation, so if you'll excuse me."

Flint was satisfied, he didn't need the dwarf to be his friend. "Just be sure that weapon of your is pointed in the right direction."

Re: The Traitor - Nimith (Kahan, Adaran, Nimith)

Arthure gave Flint a nudge and says, "Ever heard of adding oil to a fire?  I think right now you should hush."   When the dwarf is gone and he is certain there are no prying ears he says to the group, "You know, you have to wonder about Anlisade's line of thinking.  He is putting his other sons at higher risk of loss of life just to bring back these two.  He does not seem like an unintelligent person.  He has to realize the chance of him loosing more of his sons in this battle had to occur to him.  So I am left wondering if there is more to why he is entering this then he is putting forward.  It almost seems like he is cornered."

Adaran nods to Arthure and says, "We should have Flint identify that necklace. I'm not sure it's something we want to have with us if Tarimar had something to do with it. For all we know, it could be a device for him to spy on us...or transport his forces into the compound."

Re: The Traitor - Nimith (Kahan, Adaran, Nimith)

OOC:  I'm sending you all back to the feast room.  You can talk privately there if you want, but then Naj, Grung and Grizz can also talk.

In reply to Arthure Glade (msg #133):

I thought I should comment on this remark.  Please remember that Krugoth has ordered all the dwarves to fight the orcs on the morrow.  The dwarves cannot leave the compound that you are aware of without being set upon by the orcs anyway because the compound is under siege.  Therefore, Anlisade's decision was whether to fight with the dwarves or with you.  He is not technically putting his sons more at risk.  In fact, he might be thinking he is putting them less at risk because he has seen your powers and strength, and he might trust that more than the strength of the dwarves in the compound, especially if combined with his weapon.  (In other words, in his mind, the only thing he really lost is the necklace, and he probably gained more safety from his sons if the alternative is to fight with weaker dwarves.  Unless he knows of another alternative...)
