OOC: I am not sure exactly where Kahan is going.  What is a "magical ammunition shop"?

Kahan walks with Nimith toward the marketplace with Nimith in tow.  The gypsies by necessity have packed up their wares and come into the compound itself.  They are lined up in the courtyard.  The dwarves steer clear of them like avoiding a lice infestation, but they beckon to you for business.  They are the same gypsies who were outside the compound previously.

Adaran is following inconspicuously behind.  That is a little more difficult to do in the open because he is a human among dwarves, but he follows in the shadows.

Except for what the gypsies carry, there are no weapons or ammunition for sale currently among the dwarves.  It is all needed for the war.

Answering Kahan, Nimith says, "Mages are not allowed much anywhere else.  Not even before the orcs.  So I have to wander about, change my identity, and keep low."

Nimith is looking at the gypsy wares.  "What do you think about a jawtrap or gunpowder?" he says to Kahan.

The gypsy selling the jawtrap and gunpowder says the army bought out a lot of the supply for the battle.  He has 5 jawtraps left and only one barrel of gunpowder left.  The dynamite got all sold out.

"I don't think jawtraps or dynamite would be very helpful in combat without careful use, and I honestly don't have much money to spare." Kahan answered, thinking about what Nimith had said. "How much do you know of our quest? I assume you know... at least some things about it." he asked discreetly.

Nimith says, "Your quest?  I didn't really know you are on a quest.  You're just helping out Krugoth, right?  And then going on your way.  I thought you could use a hand with some magic experience maybe.  Just adventurers out there seeking a better life.  Sounds all good to me."

Nimith will purchase 3 jawtraps and the barrel of gunpowder.  "Carefully setting them up before a prolonged battle with the orcs could give us an extra layer of protection, I think."

After finishing his business with the gypsy, Adaran walks over to Kahan and says quietly, "No one has followed us. And no one seems to be watching either. If there's a spy somewhere in the compound, my first suspect is Nimith. I don't trust him. He knows more than he's letting on and he's clearly nervous when questioned. He doesn't seem too comfortable leaving that conference hall either. We should return to the others and investigate his background."

"If we return, I assume he will follow with me, making figuring anything out about him difficult at best." Kahan replied quietly, stepping away from the gnome to talk to Adaran while Nimith was talking with the Gypsy.
