Arthure seeing that Flint seems to have everything under control.  Relaxes a bit, and let Flint do the talking.  He looks to Borimer and says, "Thank you for the assist.  How are you feeling?"   He says this as not to inter up the conversation that is currently happening.

Re: The Traitor - Anlisade (Borimer, Flint, Arthure)

As Flint talks, the dwarf seems to relax a little.  [Charisma check made.]  "I am Anlisade, and I now have two dead sons thanks to this misadventure.  I always told them their judgment and rashness would be their downfall.  That they have too much of their mother's fireblood.  What is it you want?  Let's be done with it so I can bury my children.  I care little about this war with the orcs or their politics."

Re: The Traitor - Anlisade (Borimer, Flint, Arthure)

"You might want to reconsider making it part of your concern, the orc threat is real, politics or not.  Seeing that you want to see to your fallen boys I'll be quick and to the point.  We had heard that you had powerful weapons at your disposal, and I believe that your boys have already proven that point to us.  We would like to enlist the use of such weapons to help turn the tide with the orcs in our favor.  I'm sure that we could use your willingness to help to have them wave the taxes they are trying to levy against you.  Might give your boys something to do that they could be proud of.  Would that be something that you would be willing to do?  Oh and one more thing, I would like to have a look at the necklaces that you wear around your neck.  I have my reasons but am not at liberty to discuss at this time."  Flint looked at all of those that are gathered around.

Re: The Traitor - Anlisade (Borimer, Flint, Arthure)

Anlisade says, "I will pay no taxes to Krugoth.  Have you met him?  He's greedy and will do anything it takes to get a few gold out of someone.  And I have no need to fight the orcs."  He makes a nervous glance up the tunnel.  "My necklace is not for public display or inspection.  I am still not convinced you are not thieves.  I am a collector of fine relics and an adventurer.  Unless you have something really intriguing or of historical importance to offer me, I must bid you to leave the way you came."

Re: The Traitor - Anlisade (Borimer, Flint, Arthure)

Flint put his hand to his forehead and glanced over to the others, "I had hope that you would have been willing to be of help to us.  Being a collector of fine relics and an adventure is all well and good, I can respect that.  So here is the intriguing part you asked about." "Web-a-ness""I am a Seeker of information, It would take way to much time for us to try and convince you that our intentions are good and the same goes for your question of are we thieves or not.  I feel forced to take a look in spite of your denial of my request.  I wouldn't bother to resist, for another lighting strike will not only do in most of your remaining sons, it would set the webbing a flame as well so if the lighting didn't kill them the the burning webs will."

"Now may I see what I came here for?" Flint produces another small component for casting.

Re: The Traitor - Anlisade (Borimer, Flint, Arthure)

Anlisade watches the floating disc as it moves toward Flint and listens to Flint's words.  "You bring such dour words to a father grieving for his sons you just killed.  I was thinking, something you could offer me -- the other dwarves, they do not practice the arts of bringing back the dead -- but you are obviously a mage of power.  Perhaps you can, or know someone who can, bring back my two dead sons.  For that I would give you their service in this battle of yours and the necklace."

Re: The Traitor - Anlisade (Borimer, Flint, Arthure)

Arthure is starting to loose his patients with this dwarf.  He can also see that Flint is to.  He takes in a deep breath and says in a calm and even tone, "We bring words of necessity.  I understand you are morning the loose of your sons.  That you believe Flint was the cause of their death.  It was not completely his fault.  Before they shot that device, I was approaching displaying we meant them no harm.  Despite that fact they still shot the device which I would like to add would have killed any normal person.  That is when Flint fire back in kind."   He takes a moment to calm himself and remind himself the father had lost his sons.  Reasoning with him and reminding him how much of an idiot his sons were probably will not get what they want.

He then continues, "We can not bring back your sons and on the same note we do not want you to loose any more.  I have gems that should cover the cost of bring back your two sons.  Unfortunately I do not know of any one who is capable of doing that.  Perhaps one of the temples that is not under the orcs control can do this.  I will gladly give you what gems I have for this.  I hope that is enough."   With that he reaches into his pouch and brings out an Alexadrite worth of 100 gold.

Re: The Traitor - Anlisade (Borimer, Flint, Arthure)

Flint nods in agreement with Arthure, "Even though, my magic is strong, that is not a spell that is not within my ability.  We do have some others that are within our group I can ask, perhaps one of them may know of someone that could be of aid in this matter."  Flint reflected in thought for a few moments.  "You know Arthure you may be on to something.  If there is not one among us, then perhaps a raid on one of the orc temples could gain us the needed scrolls.  I would like to rectify what was done here if possible"

Anlisade says, "I agree.  There was a bad mistake made here.  If you can bring back my sons, I will put the strength of all 11 of my sons with you on tomorrow's battle and give you this necklace you so desire."  He pulls the necklace up from his neck.

He gestures behind you.  "Now, if you please, could you leave my home and family burial area?  I will see you out."

Borimer gets within striking distance of the ladder, ready to ambush the person making noise above.

"Someone is either moving the table to trap us, or trying to get down here to find us."

As Arthure approaches he says to the dwarf, "Judging by the state of your home when we arrived, the way we were greeted, and the sounds coming from your home.  Were you expecting hostile company?"   He does so in a hushed tone.

"No."  Anlisade hushes you.  He also pulls out his weapon and stands in the shadows to prepare to attack whoever is coming down.

Seeing the dwarf actions causes Arthure to act the same.  He shifts to the shadows and gets his staff prepared to attack.  Then again why is he doing this.  Maybe this group was doing the same as they were.  Just wanting to ask the dwarf some questions.

Re: The Traitor - Anlisade (Borimer, Flint, Arthure)

Anlisade waves you back into the recesses where the treasures and skeletons are at.  (This was about 100 feet back from the entrance.  He follows you back, adept at moving through the narrow passage.)

You wait behind the wall, weapons ready.

Anlisade then moves down the corridor toward the trapdoor, weapon ready.  A few moments later, you hear him call out, "Intruders and thieves!" and he begins to climb forcefully out of the pit.
