Harkahnon Ruins - Clues, Maps and Objectives

When I get some time, I will put the clues you have found to date so you have them all in one spot.  It shouldn't be too hard to figure it all out, but the time that goes by in RPoL time makes it hard to remember sometimes.

Feel free to post any clues or comments here you want to remember (or if you want to discuss the clues amongst yourselves).

The entire Crossroads Ark is a sort of puzzle spread throughout the ruins, so don't feel you have to understand it all just yet.

OBJECTIVES:

MAIN OBJECTIVE:  Use the Crossroads Ark to escape to Allevia before the destruction of the world.

OPTIONAL OBJECTIVES:

1) Kill Esylia the gorgon
--OPTIONAL: Find a way to track Esylia's movements

2) Rescue Chrisman and/or Androlus
COMPLETED.  Now get Androlus to the Venue Ark alive.

3) Explore the Harkahnon Ruins
--Find out how the crystal focus devices work.

4) Decipher the strange letter given to Borimer by Marcus.
--OPTIONAL: Find out if there is more to the letter than you at first thought.

5) Collect more items and information on the Five Pillars and the artifacts.

6) (Undisclosed) Deal with the Lich King -- send him to the demons, kill him, or something else
COMPLETED

7) Determine what Augmantium's connection is to the Crossroads Ark, and how to use Augmantium to make the Ark take you to Allevia.


CLUES


1) King Krusark is alive (or something like that), surviving as a lich-like being despite having been thought to have been killed in the Orc Wars.  (He is being held to a throne by Lumen's spell  link to a message in this game  (See message 60 for details.)  (Lumen was viceroy and counselor to the King.)

2) Marcus gave Borimer a letter.  It had read simply:

3)  You have two blue vials that will turn stone to flesh.

4)  The spherical portion of the Crossroads Ark (room 16) uses a 9 digit number that is programmed into it, and uses three red and three green gems.  (When you crossed over to this time, the numbers on it matched the numbers in the letter and what was programmed there when Lumen arrived.)

5)  The snake-like gorgon Esylia is Syrissa's sister.  Syrissa and her husband Edmure are accompanying you.

Here is how you left the Time portion of the Crossroads Ark (Room 16):

After crossing over, you noticed that two of the three green gemstones were missing from the device, and it was not glowing anymore.

Teleportal Room:

A 10-foot-diameter hole, ornately edged, gapes in the floor of this room.  Directly above it is a similarly sized hole in the ceiling. A small pedestal sits
 against the southwest wall, a diagram barely discernable above it.  There are three small bowls on the pedestal.  The bowls are empty.

The hole in the floor and ceiling appear to lead down to an identical room below and above, and those rooms to identical rooms below and above, ad infinitum.  It is like looking into the infinity of two mirrors facing each other.

Each level is 15 feet.  You discovered that there are only three levels, each color coded.  So dropping something down will make it fall through the infinite teleportal and really fall only 45 feet before returning to where you dropped it.

Your level has a black ring around the hole,the one below you is red, and the one below that is white.  Looking up, it appears that the one above you is white, and the one above that is red.  The only difference between the rooms is the placement of the southern door on one of the rooms and the color of the ring around the hole.

Below is a diagram.  They are supposed to be all the same size, so ignore my error.  You are at 20a; you can reference the others by 20b and 20c or by color of the ring.

For your reference, here are the latest updates to the map of the areas you have explored.  Blackened areas are areas you have not yet explored.

NPC: ANDROLUS

Androlus was a member of the original temple staff, not from your time.  Of anyone, he knows the most about how the Ark works.  Here's what Chrisman told you about him earlier:


You go back to room 8 and begin a long rest.  An hour or two later, you begin to hear wailing and screaming from somewhere a level above.  Chrisman says this must be Esylia torturing Androlus to try to get the codes.

He says, "She must be anxious now because you are here.  Her patience is gone.  Androlus began carving codes into the tables and desks around the temple before he put his own eyes out.  This was after he set fire to the library to destroy the codex full of programmed times and places.  (You remember the burnt library at Room 17.)  He couldn't imagine what it would be like to allow a monster like that to be free to roam the two worlds at the time of her choosing.  Most of the rest of the temple staff escaped through the Ark to Allevia.  He and a chosen few stayed behind to care for the temple and the Ark.  That is, until Esylia showed up through the Time Ark, bent on killing them all and using its power for her own ends."
