That's one of the things I hate about temporary effects that don't say "enhancement".

If you leveled up WHILE raging you have natural armor allowing you to take the feat, but then you'd lose the prerequisite while not raging and wouldn't be able to use it. You would then regain it when you raged again.

Seems idiotic but unless the game designers have a FAQ or errata noting otherwise, that's how it would work and I think it's silly.

Thats kinda what has been put out there in forums alot of interpretations and ideas for house rules but nothing in stone.  Guess the question then is how does the areana count when you lvl up, you are awarded BP at the end of the battle so it is possible that you worked on X to learn feat while leveling up.  I already used my PM for the week, I'll keep digging and if I can't find a faq/errata base answer I may ask for your input officially next week I would hate to get in to combat and then figure out a feat is no good.

Sean K. Reynolds put out an official answer, if it is for an ability score you must hold it for 24 hours (make it permanent) and for fly by attack and hover just being able to fly for X rounds per day is not good enough needs to be an all the time thing like several 15th-level sorcerer bloodlines, and the one I feel applies to my question an Alchemist with Feral Mutagen can take Weapon Focus (Claws) because there is not a temporary/permanent toggle for proficiencies in the rules.

Thanks, but I'm going to have to decline and have us re-post that.  I was part way through a level up and did not repost the challenge with the correct levels and I can't fix my sheet with the challenge post up.  I'll fix my sheet and have a challenge up tonight.

I just love how 3/4th of the Arena is built around "How can I beat Ario?" Makes me laugh cause everyone is building around the wrong tricks.
