The large arena platform is a 100ft.-long, 100ft.-wide 50ft.-deep cube of dirt and rock. Surrounding this area is a giant force cube which goes 50 feet over the highest floor point and 50 feet under the lowest floor point as well (small arena is 50ft long, 50ft wide, 25ft deep, 25 ft tall). The force cube is enchanted with epic anti-magical barriers that not only make them immune to magic but also bar teleportation and dimensional gateways from moving through them. Summoning creatures into the arena and teleportation within the arena function normally (you just can't escape). The ceiling allows weather, water, sound and energy through, but not objects or creatures. The force walls can be climbed only by creatures with spiderclimb but the corners can be braced against (Climb DC20). Small throwable rocks litter the arena in just about every square and boulders line the out edge. Opponents begin on opposite corners of the arena as far as possible.
Upon entering an arena, a character begins with their hands empty, has no spells or effects active but has full HP, all their equipment donned/sheathed (but not drawn), companions/cohorts beside them (but not mounted), consumables in their belt pouch/bandolier, magic items on your person (worn or in your backpack) and spells, ki, and other limited daily effects refreshed and prepared but not cast.
All combatants roll initiative first and post the result. Then, they begin posting their turns in order. Despite it being an arena, normal rules apply for being flat-footed during the first round until you have acted.
