Do we wait for Josep to say go? Or does Xin go ahead and start by picking his corner?

Let's wait for him until tom. If not then let's assume he is reading our duel. Anyways we can't pm him unless it's emergency.

Duel #195: Jayce vs. Xin

Hi all, and welcome to the Arena ! What do we have here ?
A young Tiefling Rogue and a revenant, a summoner that once was going to take the belt...

Anyhow, let's get started. Before Xin posts his first prep round, please both mention how many of you there are and in which location, with brief description. I don't like confusion with minions, familiars, eidolons, and such.

Xin you'll start in the top right hand corner, Jayce in bottom left (note that this has no bearing whatsoever on your strategic placement)

Duel #195: Jayce vs. Xin

Since you assigned me bottom left, Jayce will start in the corner(A10) with Mountain, my Cohort to the right(B10). My eidolon will not be starting. 2 to start.

Duel #195: Jayce vs. Xin

I'm going to start on J1 and no one with me except my equipments, weapons,  and armor. And don't forget my trusty shadow. My shadow goes with me wherever I go,  and do whatever I do,  except that it doesn't do damage,  even if it crits. (But don't tell it that,  it quite sensitive about it. )

Duel #195: Jayce vs. Xin

All right then, Xin please post your first prep round with an updated map.

Do you play "hidden on the map" i.e even when invisible you let your opponent know in which square you are, or regular "perception check required to pinpoint your location" ?

Re: Duel #195: Jayce vs. Xin

Xin walks in the Arena, his crossbow ready, he calm his nerves and let the rush of adrenaline take over. "Be ready Jayce, you may have advantage over me with your summons, but don't be overconfident because you'll find me a hard challenge."

OOC: I don't care. Hidden on the map is fine. That way we bug Josep less if we use it. Loved your shadow commentary. HILARIOUS! lol Now is an opportune moment for you to really do something. All three of us are flat footed. Make use of that sneak or find somewhere to hide if you have an ability, spell, potion that lets you. Foo Lion has a reach of 10ft, being flat footed it cannot make an AoO. Feel free to study up on monks and foo lions before moving. Ask Josep questions if he is ok with answering them. Ask me questions. Today I might not respond due to concert, but I will eventually.

Re: Duel #195: Jayce vs. Xin

Are you including the -5 penalty for moving more than half but less than full? Or if you have a rogue talent for it then all is well. You don't have to say which it is, just yes if one of the above applies.
