Tinny Tina downed an extract and hopped on the dinosaur's back. "Arright Chomper, hit me and then fly towards the weird looking one." The dinosaur tapped her with a clawed glove, dousing her in liquid, then began to fly towards the monster, which earned him a smack to the head. "NO! I meant the one that doesn't want to kill us!" He quickly changed course.

OOC: Why did you guys write prep round? There is no prep. First map post, I wrote Prep: 0.

I apparently couldn't full attack, this monster uses weapons not claws.  This monster draws swords for melee. My bad. The shooting is still legal. Either as a part of a full attack or as a standard. If you want me to only use a 5ft step and shoot I shall. Since I made the error. Either way monster procs AoO from V5 unless V5 cannot act for some reason. AC 31.

In reply to Grunyar Fangblood (msg # 18):
Tinna, if you pass the save, I'll edit the location for you. So just make the save first. If not, Chomper can communicate to the best of its ability where target is via Grunyar. If you fail the save, I've given Grunyar permission to speak with you during your turn as Chomp or Chomper or whatever its called. To tell you the best of its ability where the monster currently is. If you do not feel that fair, we can come up with a few alternatives such as hidden on the map(granting Cover and the 50 percent miss chance since it is not an included extra), false foe(miss chance still included), or something else.

I was looking up the spell blindness/deafness. Which also requires a fort save. That's kind of funny
You aren't immune to being blind but to become so you must use a fort save which you are immune to. That makes no sense. You might as well be immune to blind.

Let me take a look see on the boards and cast a vote in ooc. Facts would support your claim I suppose.

In the interest of not slowing down, target is in J7.

I mean, there's ways to blind someone that doesn't require a Fortitude save. Plus, being immune to Fort saves would be pretty useless if I also had to be immune to the effect the Fort save causes.

In the Arena, those effects that require no save are illegal unless either a touch attack is added or a save is added. To make them legal for arena use. As such any created effect will more than likely add a Fort save. The only exception I've seen is Glitterdust, which is a will save.

Re: Monster Hunt #17: Grunyar + Tina vs. ???

Since you did not roll a stealth and you attacked the DC to locate you is negligible.  DC 0 -20 for taking an action, +20 invis, total of 0.

I would get a reflexive perception to notice you. with a very high bonus.

And, you shouldn't publicly announce you started meta-gaming. You could get fouls for that. Sheesh.

Re: Monster Hunt #17: Grunyar + Tina vs. ???

you are right I did mess that up with V5, even from A7 you would still be in his Aura of Doom (not spell, its an ability that's free action to activate).  If you like I will move him with my next battle post to D7 which would be his correct position correcting his southerly movement and taking the same easterly movement.  I did notice the mistake in preparing my last turn but figured beings he did nothing to change the out come of the match I left it alone.  All movements from my previous turn are using the difficult terrain restrictions.

Re: Monster Hunt #17: Grunyar + Tina vs. ???

Please roll a perception to notice  tinna, not a very hard roll, as tinna is invisible via dust of disappearance. Which even see invisibility can't pierce. Since this spell is not an AoE but targeted.

I didn't put it there. Tinna did maybe? You can see my post doesn't have one.

Re: Monster Hunt #17: Grunyar + Tina vs. ???

Well, hope with the moving around and attacking makes this good enough.  I think  it should be invis only gives +20 for moving and areana penalty of -20 for attacking should negate and you are unable to use stealth while attacking so would her (if she has any) ranks in stealth count? But chomp did not attack, run, or charge is he effected or am I just over thnking the whole thing :).

Grunyar Fangblood rolled 1 using 1d20-1 with rolls of 2.  Perception check vs Tina DC ?  :).

The monster is dead. No, you did not beat SR. You forgot to actually grab the rod. Lol if the monster was alive, I probably would roll a will save for you anyway since the intent was there. But it is dead, so doesn't really matter at this point.

Declarations please gladiators. Someone do the half ref calculations as well. About to take the family  swimming. I'll wrap up in some hours from now.
