Bruhli marched into the arena. He couldn’t see Cronwier, but he could smell his weakness. Delicious. As usual, he wasn’t wearing any armor. Bruhli was simply attired in baggy white pants, a red sash tied around his wait, and ornamental wristbands, arm bands, and a headband. Bruhli couldn't hear a word of what Cronwier said. Ultimately, he didn't care.

When true combatants make threats, they say them loud enough to be heard. They don't whisper them in the darkness. Bruhli would make quick work of the mage. He just hoped the frail Aasimar wouldn’t faint from fright.

After casting a spell, Bruhli began to talk as he marched toward the center of the arena, stretching as he went, “I stand between two worlds, between the jann and the mortal…rejected by both, I will destroy both…but first I will destroy you.”

Cronwier began to head towards where he thought his opponent was located, then he heard the barbarian's comment. As he walked the chains that had wrapped themselves around his chest seemed to move and shift in place, while he twirled the one in his hand.

"If you let me eat your soul, you might be able to find peace." This time he spoke clearly and loudly enough that Bruhli would hear him.

Bruhli cleared the last barriers and finally reached the center of the arena “Cronwier!” But Cronwier wasn’t there. The massive barbarian looked around for the skinny Aasimar but apparently Cronwier was taking it’s time meeting Bruhli in the center. That coward. This made Bruhli angry. He slammed his fists together thinking of Cronwier.

Bruhli was not a patient Outsider. “Cronwier! I hope you can actually fight! Come over here and let’s see what you’re made of!” Bubbling with rage, Bruhli waited.

Bruhli begins to grin as he walks toward the ectoplasmatist. “Cronwier, we Suli are masters of the elements. They bend and beckon to our call. We are both Outsiders you and I, superior to all others in this arena. But of the Outsiders, the Suli are the noblest of them all.”

Bruhli forms a fist and little pebbles and dirt from the arena floor began to float up. They come together to create a fist of earth that mimics Bruhli’s clenched fist. The Suli grins and looks at Cronwier, “I normally prefer to beat my opponents up close; I’ll make an exception for you!” Bruhli then punches forward and the fist of earth flies toward Cronwier. “Eat this!”

The fist of earth strikes Cronwier directly in the chest. Bruhli roars with laughter “Come out of that corner Cronwier!"

Cronwier listened to the barbarian prattle on about his superiority. It wasn't like it would matter whether the man's soul was eloquent or not. As the barbarian formed the fist of earth, Cronwier made ready to dodge.

Unluckily for him, Cronwier misjudged the trajectory of the fist and it caught him square in the chest. It hit harder than he had expected, but he wasn't going to let it show. "I'd call you a coward, but I'm sure it wouldn't matter to a lesser being like you."

Cronwier advanced and the chain that was snaking around his arm began to move. The chain almost reared up like a snake about to strike, before it did, flying towards the barbarian. It glowed with dark energy as it struck the barbarian. "I hope your real fists hit harder than that, otherwise this might be a complete waste of my time."

Bruhli wiped the blood from his chin and spat on the ground. “You hit hard for a weakling.” Bruhli was certainly injured from Cronwier’s attack, but Cronwier should notice the full damage wasn’t done.

“That was quite an attack Cronwier! So you can infuse your attacks with energy! YOU THINK THAT MAKES YOU STRONG!? THE GIFT OF MY PEOPLE COURSES THROUGH MY VEINS! GIVING ME POWER TO DESTROY ALL WHO STAND BENEATH THE SULI BARBARIAN! I WILL DESTROY YOU CRONWIER AND WRAP YOUR CHANGES AROUND YOU!!!”

Obviously, Bruhli was raging at this point. The massive barbarian swelled in size becoming even stronger. New energy flowed through him. A bright energy swirled around him, sometimes erupting in red, other times in a cold breeze until finally settled on an green energy.

“THIS IS WHERE YOU LOSE CRONWIER! THIS IS WHERE YOU FALL!” The massive barbarian attacked. Though he unleashed an assault on Cronwier, all of Bruhli’s attacks missed.

The barbarian moved closer and attempted to pummel Cronwier into the ground. However, unlike with the stone fist, Cronwier was able to dodge all three blows. Cronwier stepped back as he dodged the raging barbarian. Clearly accuracy was no longer a priority for his opponent, though Cronwier was sure that he wouldn't survive if those blows had connected.

"Uh, uh, uh... Don't get too angry big guy, you might burst a blood vessel." Cronwier grinned as launched two attacks at the barbarian. Like before the chain seemed to surge as it slapped Bruhli twice across the face.

Bruhli was no longer listening to Cronwier at this point, the rage had taken over. He was angry that Cronwier was still alive. He was angry that Cronwier hit him. He was angry that Cronwier was still alive! And then Bruhli was hit again, though this time it was different. Cronwier could see that his spell had hit Bruhli, but for someone reason it didn’t take hold. “SULI’S CANNOT BE BOUND BY YOUR PARLOR TRICKS MAGE!!!!”

Brulhi stepped up to Cronwier again. And threw numerous attacks at the mage. None of them hit. “HOLD STILL!!!”

Cronwier stepped back, letting the barbarian happily swing at thin air. It seemed that the barbarian was to angry to hear reason.

Though he was incredibly shocked that the barbarian could in fact still move, much less throw punches that would probably turn him into paste if they actually collided.

Much like before his chain struck twice, this time to his opponents chest. The chain glowing again, hopefully this time it would have some affect.

Bruhli steps into Cronwier’s face and grins. “I CANNOT BE BEAT!” He watches as Cronwier steps back. Bruhli was once again struck again by Cronwier’s lashes, but he didn't care. Bruhli spreads his arms wide and shouts, “WHY DON’T YOU GIVE UP! THIS IS NO LONGER A FIGHT! THIS IS ME WAITING FOR YOU TO DIE!”  He begins to laugh again. Clenching his fist, Bruhli strikes Cronwier hard. His other attacks missed, but Bruhli didn’t care. The joy of combat flowed through his veins.

Once again, considering the ectoplasmatist, Bruhli shouted, “CRONWIER! THEY SAY YOU LISTEN TO SPIRITS! I HOPE THEY’RE TELLING YOU TO GIVE UP NOW! OR MAYBE THEY WANT YOU TO JOIN THEM SO THEY TELL YOU TO KEEP FIGHTING!” Bruhli then beckons Cronwier to attack him again.

Cronwier took a blow to the chest that disrupted his flow. Blood was running from his lips, and his eyes had begun to become bloodshot. He wouldn't be able to take much more punishment before he would be completely helpless to defend himself. Cronwier, like before, still managed to step back and his chain struck again, but this time with less power. He was weakening, desperation was beginning to get the better of him, though it didn't show on his face.

Bruhli stared at Cronwier, raised a hand and clenched it into a fist. “HEHE..” Bruhli’s fist is surrounded by a green energy that seems to corrode the air around it. “I’M GETTING STRONGER CRONWIER! MY POWER IS INCREASING! I AM INVICIBLE!” Stepping up to ectoplasmatist, Bruhli punched the Aasimar. “THERE IS NOT A BEING IN THIS ARENA THAT CAN STOP THE LEGENDARY SULI!! WAIT! CRONWIER! DON’T GO!!” But it looked like the Aasimar didn’t have any fight left. This made Bruhli angry. But he understood. Not everyone could be as strong as him.

Bruhli’s anger seemed to subside. The amulet on Bruhli’s headband faded to a dullish color again. “You fought well for a weakling. Not many could go a full minute against a Suli.”

Yep that is it. Cronwier is reduced to -19hp. Good game, I lasted a lot longer that I thought, and I realise that my duration for my buffs were wrong because I had the length of a minute being different than what they should be. But it would have made no difference to the match.

Bruhli is Chaotic Neutral, 400/800 bp used and no hero points
