I'm considering opening up some of these new game styles (mostly the idea of using "points" to determine winning conditions, adding traps, and new match types like regicide).

We're still keeping our own version of Battle Points though, theirs just wasn't balanced but there's a lot of other fun stuff and match types.

Thumbs up or thumbs down on incorporating some of them?

And which ones would you all prefer in particular? (I'll start with those if we bring any new ones in)

I like that there are many different options here in the arena, and even though I've tried very few of them, I would enjoy seeing more :)

Things I spontaneously think I'd enjoy:
Planted Items. While weapons are probably hard to plant in a fair way unless you plant many of them so that everyone has a chance to get a good one, there are other great options. Greater Rusty for example, the rust monster that does not attack the items of the controlling party (with the help of Ring of Rust Monster Friendship?). Siege weapons would be awesome for fights with more than two participants. And items that are more probable to be useful for many... Rod of Negation, rings...

Conquer & Reap. More map environment to use, score points when using them!

Regicide. If there would ever be matches with 6+ people, or perhaps just 4+, this would be cool.

I'm interested to see what inspiration people can take from it.
