Usually my browser warns me when that happens. Odd.

I don’t know how that is resolved ; usually one can’t prevent anyone from doing anything they like in a prep round, so I shouldn’t keep you from summoning a roc there if you want, but then your roc can’t keep me from being there either, so where does that leave us?

I’m fine with your changing your summon if that’s a good work around for you.

Typically summons do need to have ground to support them. Being as it's the prep round though, Jayce can summon the roc, and have it move up so that it's at +3 and not in the same location as Ankou.

Otherwise, Jayce select a different summon.

Except my post was over an hour sooner. If Ankou's position the one that matters since his init is higher, I'll place something else.

I'm going to go by Init.  Please select a different option Jayce.

Vincent moves to F8 and grabs scroll as part of move. Vincent drops scroll into Jayce's square. Shield Archon casts Shield Other on Jayce. Shield Archon now takes half of Jayce's damage. Ankou must succeed DC 18 Will save or take -2 to attacks, AC and Saves for 1 round. Must make save every time he is within 20ft of shield archon, albeit once per round. If save, immune to effect.

  The Ankou can't hide his surprise when two creatures surround him, including a bird that rivals with him in weight, and larger even in span...

 The giant Ankou decides to ignore the newcomers plainly and simply focuses all of his rage on Jayce the Tamer.

 He roars and enrages, his hair rising on his head Ankou is very probably the strongest creature ever to step in the arena.
