I’m in no position to negotiate.
I strongly disagree with the ruling, but you’re well within your right to make that call.
Does that mean we cannot summon creature in water, except at the bottom?
I’m a bit weary is all, I guess.

Lyn when I said full round that was just threw the opening which is what you ask about moving to the opening would be a move action it's self

Also trying to look it up but due to the dragon needing it's wings to fly, I don't think it can fly while squeezed into a space half it's size

Move Through Tight Space
The DC noted is for getting through a space where your head fits but your shoulders don’t. If the space is long you may need to make multiple checks. You can’t get through a space that your head does not fit through.

Action Squeezing through a tight space takes at least 1 minute, maybe longer, depending on how long the space is.

Retry? Yes. You can make another check after a failed check if you’re squeezing your way through a tight space, making multiple checks. If the situation permits, you can make additional checks, or even take 20, as long as you’re not being actively opposed.

This would take you 30 rounds. As this is for a medium creature squeezing through 1 square. You are 15ftx15ftx15ft moving through 5ft.

Getting through the hole is less than half its size

Force wall is a thin plane we all agree on that, the hole is 5'X25', it would not take 1 minute (10 rounds) to make it threw the wall and the space on the other side is larger than half it's size.

. Yes It would. As this spacing is not large enough for his shoulders to move through normally. He is 15x15x15. The space may be taller than he is, it is not half as wide as he is.


The rule says head fits but shoulders dont. His shoulders do not fit through that opening. Through the wall. The space on the other side is irrelevant to the part he is squeezing through.


If a medium creature was squeezing through something 1 foot wide, wouldn't matter if it was 100ft tall. Shoulders dont fit. And that is the part that matters.



Also note, frightful presence is something usually done as part of an attack(standard)or charge(full round action). I disagree that it can be done as part of a free action. Otherwise it would state you can do it for free once per round instead of part of a type of attack. Because a free action as part of a free action is cheesier than what I was doing. My tactics came with flaw and penalties.

I only see one wall on either side not two so it would only pass threw a single plane where the hole is 1/3 where as your example is 1/5 the creature's size

I agree it's slightly cheesey however the wording is clear it is a free action and it usually (so not required to) accompany an attack/charge action. I like the ROAR thrown in there to backup that he is showing agression but it was not required to use the presence.

I never penalized you on the eye thing now  you did get penalized for asking the GM something that was already answered

A jabberwock is 35 feet tall and weighs 8,000 pounds.

His shoulders dont fit. That's 1/7 vs my human example of 1/5. A lesser version reduces hd by 3 and abilities by 4. It does not change size or anything else.


Okay, where are we on jabberwock location? Did it waste movement as it tried to squeeze through something it was not next to, or is it at the entrance and next round it can attempt to go through?


I didn't say you gave me a penalty. I said my tactics came with penalties. As in I had the blinded effect while doing so.

It says usually because some creatures with frightful presence can attack creatures without physical combat. Like using a spell, spell like ability or supernatural ability on opponents.

Hieght has no bearing on shoulders if that is what you are trying to get at.
The hieght being that, actually does the opposite beings it is a Huge (15X15X15) if we took hieght it to account then it definitely would be able to fit threw stretched to full length it is more than doubled over (or wrapped around itself) to fit in the area provided


As for the presence if it was intended to be more strict than the basic definition then it would specify that and it does not so just it standing there trying to look harmless can still be frieghtening if it wanted in a messed up way by rules

And possition is where it started at due to improper movements

Summary : Jayce casts a spell and touches an angel. Jayce falls on purpose and casts feather fall quickly. Jayce is back in B1 safely. Angels 1,4,5 open eyes and shoot E. 45 damage. If however, they are still somehow affected even when their eyes were closed and do not have ESP to perceive the dragon's actions, they take total defense and attempt to move from panicked to frightened. Angel 2 and 3 eyes were indeed open and attempt to move from panicked to frightened.

If all are affected, Angel 1 and 2 failed and are panicked. Angel 3-5 are frightened.
If only angel 2 and 3 are affected Angel 3 is frightened and angel 2 is panicked. </Orange>


OOC: I'm just not going to debate this issue and start to move through it. Unless for some reason he doesn't roar etc. Angel 1 and 2 failed house rule to move from panicked to frightened. Others passed. All eyes open. -2 from frightened and panicked states applied in saves, as is +4. Angel 1 has spell effect boosting saves.

Duration
The arena is supposed to pit your entire power up in a single fight. Since most warriors and rogues are suited for this, but spellcasters have spells designed for days or even week-long adventures, there are some adjustments to spell durations.
 Old Duration Arena Duration
 1 round/level or less Unchanged
 1 minute/level 2 rounds/level
 10 minutes/level 3 rounds/level
 1 hour/level or more 4 rounds/level


not in effect? It had Duration(stay tuned) or something when this match started. As if it were not in effect yet but seems like it is in fact in effect now. I've been using these rules since I started playing in the arena again. You can tell I've been using them since my summons have 34 rounds max instead of 170.

I’ve never used that. I thought it was optional and linked to “spellcombat” rules.
But then things change so maybe it is enforced now?

OOC: So, I was thinking about it. Since not every corner of Jenny is visible,
 she should have cover vs the angels, and +4 AC vs each attack. The rules for Large Creatures and cover only cover Melee attacks, and not ranged.

Sure you can have cover. I hit a minimum touch of 18 and with cover you have a maximum Touch AC of 17. You are hit still. The rules for ranged cover are quite clear actually.

This was my roll for hitting you last time. All were hits vs 18 and this time, if Boa rules I was able to attack, hit vs 18. So all hits.

Boa, confirmation on my previous round. Did I get to attack or no? Lyn didn't subtract damage from what I could tell.
