For those that don't know (I do, hell it was my idea) what exactly happened to Hillcrest?

It got blowed up - everybody was killed except for a handful that escaped - and a few were captured.

Re: OOC

I’m looking for a player to fill the niche of a Psychic Sensitive in my Beyond the Supernatural game here on RPOL. If you don’t have either of the BTS books you can use the Psychic Sensitive from PFRPG for the PCC abilities.

Re: OOC

One (of many, many) reason I use Firefox instead of IE -- if you back out of a preview or edit window, you don't lose the contents.

And if the cursor was clicked outside the edit window, backspace acts as a back instead of text editing.  Sucks, I know....

It's about a billion percent better than IE.  Freeware, too. =)

The newest IE version 10 (intended for Windows Vista, but works in XP) also has this handy feature, allowing you to go back and not lose all your work.

I recommend going with Firefox though - its still better.

Okay, it's verrrrry complicated.

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

Set aside five or six hours to navigate that page, you'll find out how to get a download. *sagenod*

Re: OOC

Not to worry. Anybody can post in their platoon threads now. The first stop is to see Zed and get re-supplied.

If anybody wants to deal with members not in their platoons - use the upcoming Chapter Seven Thread or private messages.

Re: OOC

If anybody had PC's that were dead and bodies were in a whole piece and would like to still play them... theoretically Tyirrak has, amongst the relatively few spells he can cast, the Restore Life spell.

Due to the nature of the spell, people who got blown to bits or are mostly un-assembled... could not gain the benefit of this spell.

Takimatsu, Fearless, Harmon, Zephram, Marlene, and Jonas were obliterated.

Quinn was burnt to a crisp

most of White Moons neck was blow away.

Patulik, Caramon, Maitlyn, Ulik, Seifer, Sharp are all still salvageable.

Re: OOC

And how many of those were PC's? I say this to give the player the option of having first priority...

Theoretically if mages donate PPE, he could cast it more than once...

Re: OOC

theoretically there would be dozens of other mages in Tolkeen who could...

this poses an odd situation...

of those only Sharp was a PC - and Caramon was one of my PCs.

Re: OOC

True, and I wondered why this never came up before... mages in the backlines should be busy trying to raise important people back to life should their bodies be relatively undamaged... be much more efficient than training a whole new soldier, particularly if the old one has valuable information and experience with a squad or region.

Think that Sharp or Caramon should come back, or should we say that this spell doesnt exist except as a big ritual (which would effectively reduce it's efficacy to a plot device).
