Two old style SAMAS come into range of Arthur's weapons.

Mephisto steps into the cover of the forest and vanishes.

Arthur and Sarah both hear him say "Unlike my counterpart, Shira, I am staying right here. Trust in magic Arthur."

Arthur bellows over the radio "Enemies in the air!"

Arthur will spin and attempt to pinpoint the aircraft.  If possible he will let fly with his cannon at the closest of the craft.

Arthur will let fly with his particle cannon, hoping to do as much damage to one SAMAS at a time.

Sarah jogs to the ATV and gets in the drivers' seat. She aims from the window, hoping the SAMs wont see her in the cover of the vehicle. She wonders to herself what Mephisto plans on doing.

Arthur and Sarah fire blast after blast at the SAMs but they are just too fast, and missed each and every time.

The two SAMAS armors come closer, and fire off volleys of mini missiles.
Four missiles come hurling towards the group leaving a trail of smoke behind them.

2 missiles crash into Arthur, and the other two crash into the Ostrasaurus.

Arthur is blown through several trees, and lands on his hands and knees, 6 or 7 feet into the forest, having created a new clearing.

The Ostrasaurus screams and reers back on its hind legs, then breaks out into a full-speed dash for safety. The ATV rolls right along behind it, bouncing aggressively with each bump in the trail, and the silonar is dragging on its side. Sarah remains isnide the ATV, trying to activate the breaks. The tires hold still, but the vehicle drags along behind it.

He can clearly see Mephisto in front of him with his optics. Mephisto raises his hands in the air, and a small portal opens about 400 feet in the air. As the SAMAS pass under it, a large metoer ejects from it, and collides violently with one of the armors, sending it spinning off course and towards the ground.

From the distance Arthur can hear the cream ogf a human female, scream her last scream. It comes from the direction of the battle.

I will charge back into the battle, taking aim at the downed Samas if it is moving, otherwise i will attempt to find cover and gauge my next action.

The SAMAS that was hit by the meteor from the rift, hurled towards the ground, regained himself, and lands slowly, jogging along the ground, and picking up speed, while his jets struggle to kick in.

He begins to pick up speed and takes off again, as he is interrupted by a barrage of cannon fire from Arthur.

The SAMAS struggles to get in the air and evade ARthur, but it takes too long, and the outer hull, cracks. The SAMAS crashes lightly into the dirt, and lays motionless.

The second SAMAS is turning around for another pass.

The Ostrasaurus, charges away from the treeline, back towards 6th platoons position. The ATV screeches its' breaks, as Sarah tries to slow it down ineffectively. The Silonar, still trying to stand, cries as it gets dragged along.

Arthur will attempt to barrage the SAMAS with missiles.  Four of them from his arm shields.

The SAMAS still in the air, tunrs around and jets back towards Arthur. Another two missiles are launced at ARthur, and ARthur returns fire with 4 of his.

The two armors hit each other almost simultaneously. Arthur is sent flying again, and the SAMAS spins several times in mid air, and struggles to regain itself. The CS trains its' pilots well it seems...

The SAMAS flies over Arthurs' head and will likely come around for another pass.

Sarah is still in the ATV. The Ostrasaurus is rather slow, and is still on its way to 6th platoons' camp. Or at least in its' direction...

Realizing the situation isn't tactically to his advantage Arthur will attempt to get under the cover of the trees in such a way that he will be able to blast the power armor from the sky as it makes it's next attack run, preferably aiming for it's jetpack.  "We need anti-aircraft, and fast."

Sarah watches the SAMAS in which try to help in anyway possible.  Tell others about their pattern of flight so that way they get a lock on or just try to use a skill.

The SAMAS draws closer and opens fire with his rail gun at the glitter boy.

Arthur looks to his side as he hears a sound. Lotus is beside him again.

   Lotus finshes an incantation and then steps directly in front of Arthur, between him and the SAMAS.  She is no where near large enough to provide any real cover for the massive suit of power armour, but she is tall enough to reach out with her arms.  With the enchantment of her magics, she will attempt to parry and block each of the incoming rail gun rounds from the SAMAS, reflecting them back up to their source.  There is no hesitation in Lotus' movements and she relies very heavily on her instincts and reflexes.  They have served her well this far...

The SAMAS speeds towards them in his last charge. He will gladly give his life for the Coalition to rid the world of spme d-bee lovin' PA pilot, and his mystic companion.

The SAMAS fires relentlessly, shredding dozens of trees, however every shot directed at Arthur is efficiently parried and re-directed into the ground, or into the trees. Arthur aims steady and fires, severing the main jetpack from the armor. The SAMAS begins to spin at a ridiculous speed, the pilot's yell reaching the ears of Arthur and Lotus. Arthur continues to fire, striking the SAMAS another time, somewhre in the front, before grabbing Lotus and leaping to the left.

Arven and Okom arrive to witness a screaming fireball crash from the sky, and topple dozens of trees, as it slides along the forest floor, finally coming to a stop not ten feet from Arven and Okom, half buried in dirt. The yells long sice silenced, only a charred corpse, and a split open armor is left.

Arthur informs Arven when he sees him, that his Ostrasaurus was shot with missiles, and took off, with the vehicles fastened to him. The beast seems to have stopped at 6th platoon's campsite; it is sitting on its' side licking the wound. The silonar vomits, then stands to its' shaking feet. Sarah steps out of the ATV, to untie the vehicle.

Arven jogs to his animal ride, alongside a gradually visible Mephisto, on route to his mount.

"Goddamn," Okom shakes his head, "I've got to get something faster than my feet it seems."

Bending down, Okom pulls off one of his armor's gloves and leans in to inspect the wreckage to see if there's anything salvageable left.  Looking at the wreckage, both of the armor and its occupant he shakes his head again.  It's a goddamn waste. he thinks, As if my folks wanted to come here.  'Earth for humans' and all that crap.  If that was so important to them, they should have thought it through before whatever it was they did to open the rifts here.
