"Fuck you beeotch... and fuck you too punkass Zephram...fuck all ya'll!" The intense gravity well that was targeting only Ajax is now affecting a 20ft diameter around all six Rens. The lead Ren turns his attention back to Ajax. "So you are a god you little muthafucka? Well give your daddy a big fuck you from me cuz im about to roll your ass up gangsta style. BUMRUSH THIS NIGGA! All six wanna be thugs charge Ajax and begin punching and kicking him. Even though they are wearing only tennis shoes and are bare knuckled they hand out massive amounts of damage.


OOC: Everyone and everything in the 20ft area sees its weight increased 300x. There is no save against this crushing weight. i.e. a 200lb man with 40lbs of armor now weighs 72,000lbs!  The average laser pistol would weigh 1200 pounds and a rifle would be over 2000 :)

   As the weight builds up around him, Zephram tries to make a controlled collapse to the ground, instead of crumpling into an awkward pile.  He wastes no time transmitting over the radio. "Tolkeen Forces! This is Lieutenant Zephram with 3rd platoon, we have a demon out of control, north-eastern side of Hillcrest!  He has created multiples of himself and is attacking our squad with gravity-powers!  We need him put down ASAP!"

   Zephram then casts Quicksand around his squad in the hopes of sinking them all underground and out of Renaldo's reach.  He will allow himself to sink as well, paying close attention to any of his men or women not wearing environmental armour.  They will need rescuing first.  Once Zephram sinks below the range of Renaldo's gravity powers, Zephram will cast a dig spell to begin rounding up his men.  This entire process should not take more than a melee or two - thanks to Renaldo's powers, everyone should sink through the quicksand quite rapidly.
   Zephram's plan to sink the squad below ground should also allow the nearby Tolkeen army to use blast radius weapons against Renaldo without fear of hurting friendlies.  This is the first time Zephram has ever had to deal with a problem on this level, but he has no doubt that this is a necessary action.

Once, Ajax hear the transmission from Zephram, he says, "Enough, Ren!!!" Ajax casts two spells at Ren and his clones. Than he gives Ren, a little something extra.

Overwhelmed by the increased weight of his armour, as well as, his increased body mass Saul falls to the ground, helpless to get up.  As Zephram casts his spell, Saul begins to sink into the ground.

 It takes no more than the order given by Xion for the tall Russian to maneuver away from his team-mates, and only a few fractions of a second for him to clear his weapons maglock, the heavy Plasma ejector coming up to a firing position like the mother of all sniper rifles.

 Two hundred feet if it's an inch, and the targetting reticules in Silvermasque's world-view come together on the head of one of the dopplegangers, prompting the now-familiar static hiss-snap of a cycling plasma cannon.

[02:35, Today: Silvermasque rolled 13 using 1d20+5. Incoming! (Aimed for Head).]

 More fire follows, less painstakingly aimed and discharged as rapidly as the metal-sheathed warrior can pull the trigger, three further searing bolts flashing downrange before the green 'charge' LED on the side of the cannon flashes red.

 In a heartbeat, the discharged clip hits the ground and a replacement, is being readied to be slammed into place.

Sharp who had moved away from the Ren and Ajax as soon as the trouble started is beyond the 20ft diameter of the gravity power Ren is using. The crazy unloads his C-14 into the Rens picking the most readily avialable target. He will only stop firing to change out clips.

In less than a second Obidiah goes from 2100lbs to 630,000lbs! He doesn't even need the quicksand to sink down into the earth like a high speed drill. The dirt caves in on top of him burying him solidly in the dirt. When the quicksand hits he only goes further. It is good and well that he does not need to breathe. Sitting patiently waiting for rescue he starts to wish he were an earth warlock rather than an air warlock.

Almost instantly Zephrams' entire squad is buried in quicksand. Ren has only begun to sink.

The six rens crowd around ajax. They manage to kick Ajax several times, before being stuck to the quicksand... even more mystically than the appearance of the quicksand itself. The Rens then move in for a flurry of punches. Soon Ajax is under the quicksand, and Ren is trapped.

A barrage of laser, plasma, ion and particle beam gun-fire blasts into the Rens from the mercenaries and soldiers closing around. It all is absorbed harmlessly into the Rens.

Unfortunately, the rail guns, and Ram-jet rounds are not absorbed. However the gravity field sends them all into the dirt.

The strength of the Tolkeen army is its' diversity however. And the many magically inclined warriors unleash a storm of power, that manipulates the very atmosphere of the area. All sound is muffled, time seems to slow down, and your eyes begin to water...

9th platoon of Pluto Company happens to be entirely made up of warlocks. Two of the Rens are petrified. Completely turned to stone. The incoming barrage of gunfire quickly turns them to dust.

The Captain of Pluto company manages to take care of another two copies. The area around the Rens becomes distorted like a house of mirrors. One of them shrinks to half his original size, and is then killed by a rail gun slug to the forehead.

Another becomes a pale white colour, and is then struck by a fireball which completely disintigrates the Copy.

The other Rens are attacked with spells such as Ensorcel, Mindshatter, and dessicate the supernatural. Within a matter of 19 seconds, all that is left of Rens is piles of flesh, and a statue, protected by a forcefield, and then protected by a wall of Earth.

The barrage of attacks blasts the wall to pieces as the order for a cease fire is given loud and clear.

Zephram and his squad can return to the surface, and they are all standing around a statue of Ren.

The warped space cast by Hulan, managed to change Ren on a physical level. And a petrification spell by a nearby earth warlock encased him in stone.

Ren is now a statue. A much quieter, and lonelier being now...

All would be well again, if Ajax weren't lying on the ground. His power armour a crushed mess. The six Rens each power kicked/punched Ajax twice. Ajax suffered a total of 900 MDC. (Ren your estimates were low)

That is roughly twice the amount of damage Ajax could withstand. He is dead.

 The second clip is slammed into place smoothly and swiftly, as inneffectual as the first volley of fire is, then the cannon is slung over 'Masque's back to lock back into place, the Tiger jogging slowly over towards the site of the short, unbelievable vicious battle with his swords slowly coming out.

 Closing, he examines first Ren, then Ajax in his turn... before turning his head back to the team as a whole, and - since he has one hell of a voice module, the overwatching Magi... "Dead and very dead... looks like asshole count has gone down two, but was stupid fucking way to go, da?"

 He reaches down with one of his unoccupied hands to roll Ajax over, studying the shattered, seared and generally wrecked hulk of powered armour for a second... "I do not think there is much here to salvage either... "

   Zephram wastes no time in digging through the ground to reach the members of his team.  After getting them all free in the cavern he has created under ground. he sends his digging spell up on an angle to create a ramp to the surface.  He jogs up to see the result of the battle.

   Once above ground, Zephram walks past the petrified Renaldo and moves toward Ajax.  He kneels beside the suit of armour and then looks back to Hulan.  "I suppose my platoon is ready to go now..."

When Van comes out of the Earth he brushes himself off. "Good thing I just learned Sustain. Your tactics are strange Lieutenant, but effective, I'll give you that."

He then looks around at the scene, only to find the subdued idol of DJ Renaldo and the fallen body of the self-proclaimed Demi-God of War, Ajax. There is a look of surprise and excitement on his face, like a boy walking into his own surprise party. "Huh...Well, I'm ready to go..."

Something told him that these next two hours were going to be that much more peaceful.

Harmon hears one word that rings out beyond the others to his trained ear.

Van approaches Saul just before they set out. "Saul, for breaking Ren free from the Coalition, it's gonna take me some time to forgive you. That was a bad move. But you did take down the sniper that killed Saila...so I may give forgiveness some thought..."

With that Van gets on his hoverboard and rides by Ajax's body. "You, I never liked..." He gets ready to speed off, much happier than he was not two minutes ago. "The war god's gonna be pissed, let's get a move on..."

 'Masque shakes his head, rising smoothly once more, "Nothing that would count..." he states, letting the large man get a good look at the plasma-and-laser-and-magicalfire-and-ion-and-explosion-washed wreckage of the self-proclaimed half-god and his equipment.

Saul emerges from the cave created to Zephram to see the lifeless statue of his friend Ren and the crumpled armour Ajax.  Feeling some sadness at the loss of his friend and the chaos that he had caused the group. Saul pauses to reflect as, Van walks over and says, ""Saul, for breaking Ren free from the Coalition, it's gonna take me some time to forgive you. That was a bad move. But you did take down the sniper that killed Saila...so I may give forgiveness some thought..."

Saul says to himself, "Perhaps, I should have left Ren in his cell. Then again, perhaps I needed to think that he could change, so that I could."

What a waste, he says to the big cat as he checks out the fused crushed and broken pieces that were once such formidable weaponry and armor.

Yeah, let's get going. We wouldn't want to miss our chance to end up like this. He sets off back to squad one, and climbs onto the hovercraft with only a few groans of protest. Setting his breathing mask into place, he checks over the vehicle's systems and prepares to set off.

Sharp searches the body of Ajax for "wepaons, gears and spells." If anybody has any of those items it would be him. After that he hops on his hovercycle and scoots out with the others.

The massive golem was the hardest of the lot to unearth but there was never any worry about his well being throughout the process. He clambers up the dirt ramp leaving big deep footprints in the soft soil. Standing in front of the Ren statue and the body of Ajax he relates his telepathic message to all around that do not have thier minds blocked.

"It is truly misfortunate that such powerful tools could not have been better utilized against the evil Coalition. Let this foolishness be the end of all fighting among one another. It matters not what our individual motivations are for being here. What does matter is that we are truly fighting for a great and noble purpose. We are borthers in this cause. Our victory will mean peace, freedom and prosperity for a people who have done no wrong but are being wronged. We will send the message once and for all that we will not bow before tyrants and despots! We shall prevail because truth always prevails over ignorance!

The silvery white golems eyes flare to life with a crackling electricity and even though his charasmatic nature is nothing compared to what it was when he was a professor at the University of Tolkeen the conviction of his words ring full with passion and an almost religous fervor. Pumping a steel fist into the air his entire form begins to shimmer and looks as if it is slowly braking apart from the fist down. The entire 2100lb frame transforms into a swirling mist and zips off in the direction the squad is to travel.

The shifter walks over to the statue and body. He thinks to himself, then smiles. He then moves back over to his Silonar and mounts it. Ready to head out with his platoon.

Braga looks ahead from his Silonar (completely dosile Silonar) - he points at Pluto Company making movements.

He looks to his officer and prepares for the order to follow.

(Hulan has re-joined her men, aboard an ATV, and takes up the rear of First Platoon.)
