Re: Squad Two
"Ajax my retarded friend, do you not realize that this is a war? A war is fought on a grander scale than one man. I have been around, I have collected power from divine sources as well. I can tell you now, that this war is bigger than both of us. Killing a couple borgs is different than killing the guardsmen of a Coalition VIP. Have you ever heard of a nega-psychic? They are psychics the Coalition employs that completely dispel magic. And as for your resistance to energy weapons... the enemy will have a way to counter it. They have better power armours, and more of them. They have thousands of psychics, with telekinesis and force fields. They have an unlimited supply of missiles and heavy artillery. They are a race of humans who have been at war since before you were born. If you think this war could be won by one man - then don't you think King Creed would have finished the job himself? or maybe Warlord Scard? or even Dunscon of the magic zone? Or if you are the most powerful, then what the hell are you holding back for? Ajax, I don't know what else to say. I consider myself an intelligent man. I am experienced in what I do, and I do not enjoy comparing who has more experience in war, or who is the son of a god. In the end, you are your own person. And if you believe you can do this mission yourself, then I stand by my previous comment - when, and I do mean WHEN you pass to the other side, you have several goodies that are going to waste even now on a grunt like you, that I would very much like to get my mits on."
Mephisto realizes that he is being controlled by his human emotions, and ends the conversation with a nod. He busies himself with something and waits for Zephram to make some sort of decision. He looks at Van, and realizes he shares the same hope that Zephram will say yes, and then like a couple of teenagers waiting around to hear their stinkbomb explode, they wait for Ajaxs' quick and girlish scream, followed by the sound of flames, and then a crash when he arrives to the crash site.
