A deep grumble along iwth vibrations can be heard and felt outside the APC. It lasts for minutes, eventually moving past the door and a few feet past it before stopping.

A deep growl from within Karnon's helmet, reverberating around the metal prong in his throat. It was all he could do to choke on it and fill the helmet with vomit... but he could sense the impending tension and couldn't contain himself.

The door to the APC suddenly opens...

Everybody roll initiative - it will come into play eventually...

Zor could hear the doors to the APC opening, and tries to get as low to the deck as possible, with the only hindrance in such an endeavor his hands being magnetically attached to the deck of the APC.

There is no sound from outside as the doors open - but only a moment passes before the soldiers open fire - and the sounds of bodies ripping apart can be heard. It sounds like several metal objects were thrown outside, and several others were thrown inside... The bear lets out another growl - it is anxious for blood...

The door closes again. Several loud explosions outside can be heard. and then three inside. Three flashbang grenades detonate inside the APC.

With his hands magnetically attached to the deck, his head covered and his mouth gagged, there is very little the Lieutenant can do. Unable to cast a spell, he tries to imagine that he is invisible, trying to get low as silently as possible. He tucks himself into a ball and prays that he doesn't get hit by stray fire.

Tecumseh, unaware of anything beyond the helmet, simply kneels down as quietly as possible, with his feet flat against the wall of the APC.

I believe you mean flat against the floor...

Tyirrak stands at the doorway. He can now see the full troop compliment inside. To his right is a giant mutant bear. In front of him are 2 dog boys and a psi-stalker. Behind them are three other spiked helmet soldiers, and a heavy cyborg. This is where Jack is. Behind them are 14 skelebots.

Behind them are two rows of 7 prisoners each. Each of the prisoners has their hands bound in giant metal cuffs - and those cuffs are bound to the floor. They are also each wearing body armour and helmets. The helmets completely restrict vision. The first prisoners in each row are some sort of canine-type species. They have the same helmets - but their snouts are sticking out. They are unable to open their mouths as two small hooks curl around fromt eh cheeks of the helm - and stick into the back of their throats. Puddles of puke are in front of both of them - where most of the other prisoners are wearing vomit down the front of their armour...

behind them are another 6 skelebots, and then the doors to the lockers and the pilots' compartment.

Tyirrak snapped a kick at the Psi-Stalkers head, recalling that some dog-packs are psychically linked to their pack-leader, but the kick goes wide. As it does, his tail snakes around and stabs at the psi-stalkers helmet , as he snaps an elbow into his chest as well.

He then leapt across the APC, scraping flat against ceiling as he cut the distance between himself and the psychics down to nil, snapping his doublejointed leg into one of their spiked helmets as he came down.

SECOND ONE

Tyirrak snapped a kick at the Psi-Stalkers head, but the kick goes wide. As it does, his tail snakes around and stabs at the psi-stalkers helmet . The tail leaves a massive slice in his faceplate.

Jack is invisible.


Tyirrak can feel his head under assault. Someone is psionically attacking him - with no effect so far...

SECOND TWO

Tyirrak snaps an elbow into the stalkers' chest . The stalker is knocked back a step from the tail-spear, and then sent flying from the elbow. - and the elbow leaves a painful dent in his chestplate.



The cyborg looks right at Jack - likely having no idea he is invisible. He fires once from his massive rail gun cannon. Jack fails to deflect it.

Flames burst out of nowhere outside the APC - they can be seen through the distorted forcefield. A figure quickly stands in the flames, and attacks the forcefield with a sword and a staff - while gun fire crashes above the figures head on the field as well... they are coming in...

SECOND THREE

Tyirrak quickly spots the psychic that has been attacking his mind and prepares to attack him. He instinctually ducks under a burst of laser-fire from the bear, as Tyirrak prepares to leap.


The forcefield is still under attack.

SECOND FOUR

Tyirrak then leaps across the APC, scraping flat against ceiling as he cut the distance between himself and the psychics down to nil. , snapping his doublejointed leg into one of their spiked helmets as he came down.

The psychic grunts with pain and faceplants into the ground. Tyirrak lands on top of him in waht seemed like a bad landing after the kick. Tyirrak quickly realizes he is unnable to move his arms and legs... or his tail.


 The psychic on Jacks' right grabs his chest in pain and falls to one knee.

The third psychic turns to face Jack as if suddenly he can see the dragon-man. He fires with a rifle, but Jack successfully deflects it - harmlessly into the ground. The borg fires again - and again Jack fails to deflect it.

SECOND FIVE

The forcefield drops. Lord Osema is inside right away to take Tyirraks place in the doorway.


SECOND SIX

Tyirrak takes just a moment to adapt to the effects of the psionic - he considers other methods of combat, until he began to feel the effects wearing off...


The bear, one dog boy, and 2 skelebots are all that have taken notice of Tyirraks' position thus far. They all open fire to his body ono the ground - none of them take care however to not hit their own psychic on the ground under him.

Lord Osema The brodkil has entered next to a bear, and a dog boy facing Tyirrak on the ground, and a 2nd Dog boy and Psi-Stalker blasting Osema as he enters. Osema continues his blasting as he enters. The psi-stalkers' head is the focus - as Osema turns it into a puddle of blood on the wall behind him, and pieces of helmets dripping down to the ground. The headless body of the psi stalker seems to slump in its place as the life fades away... but it remains standing.

 The last standing psychic grabs his chest in pain as well, and stumbles in his footing - but remains standing, although distracted...

"ATTACK YOU BITCHES!!!" Osema yells at Klowkuh and Gendun in particular but more or less intends it for everyone outside the APC. The Brodkil Warlord shoots point-blank at the dogboy near him aiming for the creatures face. He then unleashes four more rapid-fire blasts from the TW Starfire cannon hanging from a strap around his neck. He is shooting one handed and aiming at the bulk of the mutant bear drawing his vibrosword with his other hand as he does. Once he has the bears attention he makes two forceful lunges aiming at the bears eyes hoping to blind the behemoth creature.

Tyirrak could only twitch as the lasers scorched his armor, which at least failed to pierce through to his own leathery skin. And then the nerve endings unfroze and he started to regain feeling as the psychic he'd fallen on got sliced apart by some of the laserfire meant for Tyirrak, right before he had to resort to crude telekinesis to battle the prey. The idiot's had doomed themselves.

He twisted suddenly and put his feet under him, coiling his tail to launch himself up and kick the cyborg in the neck joint , before stabbing his fingers straight into the nearest psychics chest, coming out the back in a gory mess.

Lightning quick, his hand was back out again and he snatched a pair of knives from his thighs, simple steel except for one fact... they'd been worked over by a Kuznya from Tolkeen, and wouldn't break under the incredible force that a Lanotaur could bring on it.

He stepped up close and began targeting the cyborgs vulnerable points, slashing and stabbing clean into the 'borgs heavy armor, drumming a staccato of structural damage to the 'human'.

SECOND SEVEN

Jack prepares to strike...

Lord Osema turns and blasts the Dog Boy in the face. The head explodes with a "yelp!" from the hound. The pieces of its' head disintigrate in mid air as they sprinkle down to the ground. The Dog Boys' body collapses to the ground instantly.

SECOND EIGHT

Tyirrak - The effects of paralysis have worn off. He twisted suddenly and put his feet under him, coiling his tail to launch himself up and kick the cyborg in the neck joint.

The Borg lifts off the ground an inch or two, and lands as Tyirrak returns to his feet. Tyirraks foot felt like it may have pierced the body armour.

 The last standing psychic grabs his chest in pain as well, and stumbles in his footing - but remains standing, although distracted...

Osema blasts the bear in the gut with his starfire cannon - brutally scorching the beasts' armour, while moving to knock over the psi-stalkers still-standing body after losing its' head.

The bear returns fire into Osemas chest with its' plasma cannon.

The last remaining psychic decides to rely on Coalition hardware in the last moments of his life and blasts Jack again with his laser rifle.

The 16 front skelebots release a spray of rail gun fire - with amazing accuracy - they are careful not to hit their own soldiers - of which only three are left standing : the Cyborg, The Bear, and two psychics...




Gendun enters the APC next. He snarls at the bear, before biting the bear in the snout - then pushing the creature up against the wall.

SECOND NINE

Klowkuh enters the APC, screaming with excitement, he charges for the skelebots - blasting one to pieces on the way.

SECOND TEN

Tyirrak stabs his fingers straight into the nearest psychics chest, coming out the back in a gory mess.
Lightning quick, his hand was back out again and he snatched a pair of knives from his thighs.

Lord Osema fired again into the bears' gut blasting apart the armour.

The bear returns fire agin - into Osemas' chest - melting the surface with plasma.

Jack pierced his sword through the middle of the X he had created on the psychics' back. The blade pokes out the chest of the mans' armour, only for a moment, before Jack pulls it back out, and turns to face the Cyborg. The body collapses lifelessly to the ground.

Gendun crunches down harder on the bears face - then reaches up to claw out its' eyes. It growls in anger, pain and fear.

Lotus in next into the APC blasting the Cyborg in the face with bolts of red energy from her eyes on the way in.

The skelebots continue their wall of bullets.






SECOND ELEVEN

Tyirrak stepped up close to the borg and began targeting the cyborgs vulnerable points, slashing and stabbing clean into the 'borgs heavy armor, drumming a staccato of structural damage to the 'human'.


Tyirrak tears into the cyborg internal parts, with a spray of sparks, and strange fluids.

Lord Osema fires again, blasting pieces of bear into the wall behind it.

Gendun rakes off most of the bears' face, before ripping off the snout with his teeth. Gendun turns to face the rest of the Coalition soldiers, with the flesh dangling from his grin.

The bear fires again, perhaps as a last effort, or maybe just a twitch. It hits Osema in the leg, anyhow,

Klowkuh is rittled with rail gun rounds as he charges the skelebots. He blasts a second one to pieces and kicks a third to the ground.

Jack moves and slashes across the Cyborgs' face follwoing Lotus' attack - with his magic sword. The helmet has been busted to pieces revealing an inhuman cybernetic face.

Lotus masterfully deflects an incoming rail gun round to the borgs' face as it hurls toward her from the skelebots. She parries a second one back to one of the bots who fired at her.

Dozens of rail gun rounds stop in mid air before hitting Lotus, and Tyirrak. Immediately after, Magnet Man enters the APC the skelebots are levitated off the ground and stuck to the ceiling.

SECOND TWELVE

Tyirrak continues to rip up the borg, before it obviously loses its grasp over the systems and collapses.

Na Wa enters the APC - but the only combat remaining is Klowkuh executing the skelebots as they twitch while magnetically stuck to the ceiling.

As combat finishes and the skelebots are being executed - Callie psionically releases the prisoners cuffs from the ground. However their helmets, and cuffs are not mechanically controlled.

Over the loud speaker she announces "The crew is locked in the pilots' compartment. I can sense danger - but not for us... for Xion and the others.

The others who can sense danger, of Pluto COmpany can sense the danger as well.

The prisoners are all free from the ground.

The CS troops in the APC are all dead, or destroyed - except for the crew locked inside their room.

A demonic mixture of growling and laughing escapes Lord Osemas sneering lips as he stands in the remnants of his destroyed armor. The stuff is melted into his flesh in many spots and greenish black blood oozes from railgun wounds. "Fuck em'! Open these doors so I can plow the pilots ass like a field."

   "Alright, if this shit is secure, I'm heading back up to the surface to scout out whatever the hell's going on up there.  I'll radio back whether its safe to follow.
   With that, Lotus hops out the rear hatch of the APC back into the tunnel and begins jogging toward the entrance.

"Prisoners remain where you are and you will have your restraint's removed." Tyirrak ordered, "Callie, open the door to the pilots compartment and let the Brodkil handle it." he continued without even glancing at Osema.

"Avery is likely still jamming radio communications, so if you can contact us via telepathy, do so." he added to Lotus as she headed back up.

He then moved up and began snapping the chains and manacles of the nearest prisoners, tearing off the blindfolds and helmets with care to not injure the individual.

Once his hands are free and face uncovered Zor looks to who freed him. The Major’s left eye (to include the eyelids) is an empty socket. It appears imprisonment seems to have not to have gone well for him. Nevertheless he rattles off several questions/statements.

“I’m Major Zor Karno of Mars Company.”

“Who is in command?”

“Which Company is this?”

“I can safely assume your mission was our rescue?”

Without a response from Callie, the doors open and Osema, Gendun and Klowkuh charge inside to make waste of the crew.

The two wolfen and Zor are released from their cuffs and helmets - before it becomes obvious that this will take a while.

Tyirrak retrieves his explosives and Sharps' body, and Magnet Man collects the weapons and ammo in a floating bundle.

Along the way back up the tunnel, Magnet Man releases the helmets and cuffs of the other prisoners. One of them, a human collapses along the way. Calliandra picks up his unconcious body and continues through the tunnel corridor.

Lotus finds Arven first - they meet around the smouldering ruins of three hovercycles, and the burnt chunks of flesh once belonging to Harmon, Zephram and Marlene.

Eventually they all burst out of the tunnel mouth together - welcoming the smell of fresh air.
