Re: OOC II

Increase my bust size eh... As long as silicone implants don't interfere with magic or psionics, then why the hell not.

Hey, I hope someone can diffuse the building tension in 3rd platoon before we all kill each other...

Magnet Man may have diffused it... if not it will have provoked it to be diffused...

Oksana you are present at the meeting - and will be assigned to a platoon by the major. Just check Chapter 7 for now.

Re: OOC II

Pretty good movie all around actually... Nothing like as good as one and two, and I'm afraid Venom was thrown in as an unerdeveloped afterthought. But they did a good job on the Sandman, and Harry was of course built up over three movies.

Big Daddy Cool Parker however, had to be seen to be believed. Ouch. ^_^

Re: OOC II

I should add that I think Arven has brought a lot of flavour to this game.  As "munchy" as the character concept might be, his personality certainly gave us all something to roleplay our reactions to.  That is unique actually - having a character that starts the shit, rather than just reacting to it.  Good job malefic!

So who will be his replacement?

Re: OOC II

Lol, He actually does have a twin brother, Elden, but he lives in a different dimension and neither of them know about each other. They would probably try to kill one another if they ever met.

I think I might make an agreeable Rogue Scholar next. It would be easier to play anyway :)

Avery Drake:
[OOC: Not to be a spoilsport during a dramatic exit, but...]

Arven The Annihilator:
He starts walking backwards taking long strides that no doubt strain his chronic leg injuries. His face belies no pain or emotion however. Shrugging off his pack and dropping the staff into the dirt....

So if I say one of my characters takes a piss do I need to describe how he pulls out his penis? That whole post was nullified by Masque not allowing him to walk off anyway.

Actually, 'Masque didn't stop him from walking away, he just kept pace with him as he did so.  Was just pointing out what had been posted already....

Re: OOC II

Well it would be illogical to drop the staff onto Silvermasques feet since that is what he was basically wanting anyway. Ya know?

Re: OOC II

Well, if you want to get technical, which fifth hand was he holding it with, since he was using four weapons at once shortly before he blipped out?

I personally don't care what happens to the staff, I'm just trying to maintain continuity. =)

Re: OOC II

I can write he bends over and picks it up if it will make you feel better about it. I figured "takes it with him" would be good enough. I suppose I can say his foot was on it when he turned invisible that way it would be invisible as well. Or maybe he just had it leaning against him. or my personal fave... inserted in his rectum. Anything to incite a body cavity search.

Re: OOC II

Depends on whether it's inside the force-field with him I guess. And there'd be some fumblin' since it's in a cloud for a little while even with the flapping.

Oh, and Invisibility (by spell or natural power), Invisibility : Superior (spell only) or some sort of funky 'I'm not there any more' that isn't covered by either of the above?

Re: OOC II

Gotcha... it's just that I'm pretty certain I can track down a blind Arven under anything but Invisibility : Superior as my cybernetic vision sees right through it, and I can easily maneuver out of the fading cloud of gas - not to mention localise the sounds of gunfire and land on their point source.

And of course about half the supernatural creatures in existance can see through both sorts of invisibility...

Of course, if he can teleport... then all bets are off. ^_^

Re: OOC II

Tyirrak could probably track Arven down right quick... loads of tracking skills plus psi-stalker senses... I believe Arven is a psionic character as well...

Re: OOC II

Tolkeen would be on a ley line (or nexus) I presume.  No tracking him by psychic sent.  This would also double or triple the effectiveness of any spells Arven is using.  Just trying to help :)

Re: OOC II

'Cept that you can't be a Gunslinger and a mage. 'Course, he could be something *other* than a slinger and actually a mage, and just been fooling us all along, which I really would not put past him one little bit. ^_^

And I guess there are always magic items that just about anyone can use - like that stick for example, though it takes three days to bond with.

But seriously here, we're talking the Magic/Psionic military police force of the City of Mages. How far is he going to get?
