There is a large crash heard inside the tranport, where something massive had just landed.

Obidiah notices his protective storms around the town have disappeared int eh wake of the shockwave.

"Carver! take Archangel with you and flank these ass holes!"

Captain Shira then proceeds to put up his protective spells again, after the shockwave knocked them down.

Carver's Glitter Boy Killer Power Armour is showing signs of heavy damage, but it still has a bit more left in it, as Carver masterfully sterrs the armour to come around at the ground forces from the north, hitting the ones at Renford's Manor first.

Archangel kicks his hovercycle into a speed to match Carver in his armour.

"They don't have to tell me to go with you boss... you don't have a choice if I come or not."

Thasha moves closer and closer to Obidiah as he blasts away with his pistol. "We're gonna die here aren't we Mr. Obidiah?"

When the window proved not to be the MD material that Vashti had hoped, but rather something more mundane he swore softly under his breath.  "Godsdamn," he muttered as he looked to the fusion blocks counting down, "Twice in one week.  I gotta stop doing this."

With that, Vashti leapt through the remains of the window, all six arms holding swords at the ready, and charged one of the cyborgs.

OOC - It was very much MD material... it was just shot by several troops with MD weapons...

Xion shrugs and follow his friend through the breach,adrenaline pumping and beads of sweat forming on his evlen head, he smiles...

As Xion exits the glass 'cage' he quickly identifies targets of priority, the spec ops SAMS, and begins unloading on what he thinks is the softest part of their armor, the head and neck area.

"Yes... I am going to anyway. You do not have to though. Just hold out here with these guys for a little while. I am going to take care of the Coalition troops all up along our perimeter out that way. Obidiah points with his large metal hand. "Be strong little friend. Escape from this place so you can defend somewhere with hope like Tolkeen city itself." Obidiah walks a few steps over to where Shira and some of the other men are. He takes a railgun blast largely ignoring it other than raising his hand and creating a snowstorm over the area where they CS infiltrators are entrenched limiting their optic systems to only twenty feet or so.

"Shira I would say it has been an honor serving under you but that would not really be true. I am taking my elemental brother to the northeast. We will cripple the Coalition advance in the that sector and open a door for escape. Let other squad leaders know so they can get some people out of this graveyard before it is too late." Though they are actually in a graveyard it is obvious that Obidiah is referring to Madtown as a whole. He gave his little parting speech so that others could also hear it fully realizing that Shira is exactly the kind of hardass that would gladly fight to the death and let all the others around him do the same. In some ways Obidiah understands that even if he does not respect it. Afterall it is precisely what he is going to do.


The golems large metallic body begins to shimmer and change until he is nothing more than insubstantial mist. With a whoosh the mist rockets up into the air at incredible speed and disappears into the sky.

The sounds of battle echo throughout the ruins Grimathor and the refugees are currently holed up in. Seemingly every blast makes Grimathor more and more impatient. After a few minutes he rises and turns to the refugees, looking to the ones that have helped him guide the rest he says in a low voice Im going to head outside, if we stay here... well lets just say that it isn't a good idea to stay here much longer. I have to do something. I will return shortly, keep everyone here and quiet.

Heading outdoors, he purveys the scene. Seeing the other group, he waves his arms in an attempt to catch their attention. Motioning to his M.O.H., he shrugs his shoulders and hopes they understand.

Carver slows his machine in front of the minotaur, while searching for cover and a place to fire upon the CS squads. Without wasting time to look at Grimathor he just speaks to him with his loud speaker a moment after he opens fire.

"Where the hell did you come from?"

Vashti leaps into the fray, wwords swinging as he engages one of the heavy cyborgs. He completely disarms the 'borg, and slices up its' armour, and hull, yet the cybernetic human still stands. It attempted to attack Vashti several times, but each of his attacks were parried or evaded.

The other closest 'borg moved forward several feet to get a better shot at the six-armed blender. He opened fire on Vashtis' feet with a massive particle beam cannon.


Xion and Tyirrak open fire on the special forces SAMs on the other side of the room. Xion fires several times, scorching the chestplate of the squad leader. Tyirrak lands precision shots, completely destroying the heads of two of the SAMs.

Tyirrak renders himself almost completely untraceable, however Vashti is hit more than once, and Xion is nearly killed. The elf is hit multiple times in the chest and head. One particle beam blast lands under Xions' right arm pit, disintigrating the armour in its' path and melting the flesh and bone beneath it. His right shoulder is melted away, and the remainder of his arm drops to the floor.


The mutant psychic hugs the floor, and the counter on the fusion block runs out.

Tyirrak lashed out with psychic energy, yanking Xion and his arm back towards the room that had sheltered the psychic, as well as tossing the fusion block towards the far end of the room by the door, behind the SAMS and borgs.

"Vashti, fall back!" he ordered, remaining calm despite the now desperate situation, raising his PTT-P40 and carefully blasting at the SAM closest to them.

Grimathor says I am leading a group of refugees, trying to get them to safety but that doesn't seem likely any time soon. Just sitting around is going to get them killed so I decided to come out and see if I can lend a hand.

Vashti withdrew slowly, using his swords more to keep the soldiers at a distance than to take any one of them down.  Still, despite the odds the grin never left the jerridu's face.

Vashti is unaffected in any visible way by their weapons as he finishes off the borg in front of him with a deep chop to the neck. He backs up as Xion is pulled back. Keeping his eye on the remaining CS but glances over more than once to see Xions' condition. Upon closer inspection, part of his chest was vaporized as well, and he is not breathing.

All of the remaining troops open fire on Vashti before the fusion block detonates. One of the Borgs had fired a volley of missiles when it went off and the missiles went off in his face. Something else the borg was carrying explodes as well and blows a small hole in the wall of the room, leading outside.

"Are you ready to go right now super hero? Follow me."

Carver leads the way to attack Renfords' manner from the south.

Nodding his head, Grimathor says I am indeed. As he follows the stranger a large blazing white and blue sword appears in his hand. Following as quickly as he can, Grimathor scans the scene as he goes.

Tyirrak grabs the psychic and runs for the door while blasting at the wall. Vashti grabs Xions' body and follows, quickly behind the Lanotaur. A computer station near by has several hand-held computers on the desk. Vashti puts away a couple of his swords and grabs the four computers before following Tyirrak out the hole in the transport.

They are now on the ground next to the body of one of the Iron Juggernauts that was part of Plutos' air force. Tyirrak leads Vashti back towards First Platoon. They realize they have been cut off by several Coalition Troops, firing on 1st Platoon. Carver, Archangel, and some Minotaur are attacking Renfords' Manner from the south, the same side Tyirrak and Vashti are approaching from.

Carver, Archangel and Thunderhoof engage the CS squads firing on 1st platoon. Tyirrak and Vashti soon join in, and together they make quick work of the troops, before finally rejoining with 1st platoon.

Zor Karno, Ramenhotep, and Daemonis arrive as well and gather around Captain Shira and the others, when Tyirrak and Vashti begin to brief them.

The last of Xions' life slips from his body when the others discuss their findings. A quick look at the computers Vashti grabbed from the transport suggest they have in their possession the maps of several troop movements and attack plans in the area. It would seem this entire quadrant of Tolkeen Kingdom is pegged for total anihilation in the coming days. Theses are the surrounding towns the Madtown refugees fled to. There will be no survivors... unless these plans are in the proper hands before it is too late. Along with having the mutant psychic, a secret CS weapon.

Some distant CS artillery launches again, this time directed at the surrounding perimeter of town completely decimating the demon horde. The incoming CS forces will ride right over Madtown, and the internal forces are regrouping around the transport.

Zor look over the plans handed to him.....if the gave Madtown up to the enemy, and splitm what was left of pluto company up....there may still be a chance to save those villages targeted for anihilation.

Speaking to those around him and knowing they will pass his orders/words on, Zor says something that he did not want to.

"Pass the word to fall back...we will have to sacerfice Madtown to save those who fled from the battle."
