Van walks over trying to hide his frown upon seeing who he must now work with. He walks steadily to stand beside Xion, and he stares across at the other members of first platoon.

"Lieutenant Xion sir." He states as a nervous greeting.

The sergeant ignores the other simvan and their comments. He turns his attention to his new platoon, and is about to speak but he is interrupted by the thundering footsteps of the air juggernauts : Set, Annubis and Isis.

Xion nods to Van, "Good to have a familiar face in the group. How have your preparations gone so far?"

"I couldn't get much done Xion sir. The towns people were not very helpful... and now I suspect most of them will be leaving..."

Set marches up to Tyirrak and stands tall beside Annubis and Isis. He has no clear expression but it is obvious the juggernaut is staring at the lanotaur.

"I have been told you are my new commander. I am glad. What directive would you have for my companions and I, sir?"

Annubis follows Set and stands half-behind him when Set reports in. He then suddenly steps in front of the other Juggernauts and stands at attenion much like a human would.

I have also been told you are my new commander. I am very glad. What would you have me do while waiting for war?"

Afte the other two iron juggernauts speak up and show off their pride, Isis too seems almost jealous and steps in front of both others and loudly declares herself to the lieutenants.

"I have also been told you are my new commander. You look like good leader and commander. I am very glad, also. What would you have me do?"

Xion's head drops, I understand their independant natures. They just don't realize what is coming... If they leave at least they won't be a hinderance. If I can assist in anyway Van, let me know."

Four members of fourth platoon can be seen leaving the main group on vehicles in a t formation. Three are on hovercycles on is riding a robot horse. They speed off South East of town.

Tyirrak gazed up at the three magical juggernauts as they reported to him.

"The three of you, under the immediate command of Corporal Van Fanel, comprise one of our two air flights. Air patrols may potentially involve ranging from the town, should we be attacked by radar-invisible bomber aircraft. You will always be in at least a group of two, if not more. What are your altitude limits?"

"If there is forewarning enough then I can also assist in the air as can one of my elemental brethren. my altitide is effectively limitless. Though I have never ventured out into space I have gotten close." Obidiahs pleasant telepathic voice intones to those in the immediate vicinity. The big golem walks over nearer to Tyirrak and the others. "Unless I have specific orders I need to be about immediately I think I will go back to help finish up some of the front line defenses I began with Silvermasque earlier. I wanted to make him aware of some of the elemental magic I intend to employ." Without waiting for an answer the golem turns about and begins walking off. He is not really an insubordinate type he is just not the best soldier around. Probably comes from years of being in charge of the universities history department and telling other peole what to do. It also explains why he has been promoted and subsequently busted back down in rank twice already in his short military career.

OOC: Obidiah will stop off to mediatate and absorb PPE from the ley-line as well as attempt an elemental summoning, which fails, before going back to help do some drudge work.

"Our range is limited by my own altitude at 20 000 feet. But that outclasses a SAMAS.

Tyirrak would have nodded in affirmation to Obidiah had the golem already not begun walking off.

He turned to Corporal Van Fanel, "Corporal, outfit these Juggernauts with long-range radios and flare launchers and begin high-altitude aerial patrol in pairs. Report all immediately suspicious movements but do not engage unless ordered to or under any sort of direct attack. Use the flare launchers if an attack is imminent and you find your radios scrambled."

He turned to the rest of the unit, "The rest of us will begin securing defensive positions and clearing out civilians in those positions or immediately detrimental to those positions."

Razgriz, one known for silence, will simply head off with the bulk of the Platoon to join in the construction of defenses and protection for the city. His own abilities will be coming into play after the initial attacks have passed, but for now he will make use of himself for manual labor. Though if asked he will be glad to submit his PPE for use on the construction of defenses.

"Yes sir." is all he says before taking to the sky with the three juggernauts.
