Magnet Man marches up to Lieutenant Portia Lynn. He salutes her, and remains at attention.

"Sergeant Magnet Man reporting for duty Lieutenant."

He then turns around and calls out "Second platoon move out!"

Kamada walks over, carrying her helmet at her side in one hand, and drinking from a bottle of water in the other. She stands at attention in front of Magnet Man and salutes him, while looking him up and down with her eyes. She raises an eyebrow, but quickly lowers it and joins the sergeant in waiting for the others to make their way over.

The Iron Juggernauts land together and walk over to meet with Lieutenant Lynn, and the others.

Ra nods to each member in turn when he arrives and stands at attention in front of Portia.

"What would you have us do sir?"

Four members of fourth platoon can be seen leaving the main group on vehicles in a t formation. Three are on hovercycles on is riding a robot horse. They speed off South East of town.

Lieutenant Lynn walks over noting that Magnet Man has done his job and assembled the troops. She returns his salute and begins to walk towards the Southwest part of town. "Second Platoon! Lets walk." She walks briskly through the town to the outermost line of defense that her group was assigned pointing out the second third and fourth fallback points as she goes. Once standing in the general area where she and her new platoon will first engage the enemy she turns to address her troops. Pulling her hood off the slight woman looks even more radiant than anyone who has seen her before remembers. When she speaks it is with such authority that passersbys stop and do a double take. (OOC; She has a Charasmatic Aura and Aura of Power active. PB:21, MA:23)

"This people is our ground. Like it or not this is where it has been determined we will make our stand. I am your commanding officer Lt. Portia Lynn. I want to make it clear that I am a caring and understanding woman who appreciates individuality and it is my policy to allow everyone under my command alot of leeway to do what they do best. However if you disobey my orders there will be repercussions. If you do so in battle you will be immediately executed. From what I understand most of you are new to Pluto Company. I am as well and I am certain we will make our mark. I must say that the Tolkeen Military is lacking in some of the particulars I find important. To that end I have created a questionaire that you are to fill out and return to me within one hour. I also want some serious brainstorming going on regarding these lines of defense we have just toured. I will devise a battle plan based upon our overall capability as a unit. Any and all information you can provide me in the way of strategy etcetera will be taken into consideration."

The fiery young Lieutenant pulls out a stack of papers and holds them up to the monstrous Thornhead Demon who begins handing them out like a proper personal assistant. That in itself says alot. As Burd goes about his secretarial duties Lt. Lynn dons her hood and turns to walk off. She pauses for a moment standing still and then turns back around to regard those assembled. From beneath her cowl only her mouth and the lower portion of her nose is visible.

"This town will fall. Plain and simple. I have looked over the logistics that would be involved with holding it and it is just not possible for any significant length of time. If you want some bullshit pep talk or rousing oratory go stand around one of those other moronic platoon commanders I am sure the shit will be ankle deep. What we need to focus on primarily is a way to survive this encounter so that as a unit we can fight another day. Since retreat is not an option at this juncture we will also need to concern ourselves with being a thorn in the side of the Coalition whilst we endeavor to continue living. Fill out your forms and return them to me or Burd here... you now have 54 minutes. After that begin prepping the areas we have been alocated for defense. This includes removal of any civilian squatters within our scope of the battlefield. You may use a restrained amount of force to remove them if necessary. I am using the Inn near the church as my command post."

The Lieutenant turns and walks back through town waving politely at a group of children hanging around outside a single family residence she just ordered to be cleared by force if needed.

   Oksana takes the report from the thornhead demon and for a moment she considers speaking with him.  But a glimpse of his monstrous face makes her think better of that idea and instead she looks around to her fellow troops.  She picks Kamada as the least intimidating person present and walks over to her.
   "Corporal Kamada.  I'm afraid I never learned to read... Can you help me fill out this form please?"

Kamada looks to Oksana and hesitates a few moments before answering...

"You want me to read the questions out to you, and then fill in the blanks?" She turns to Portia "Hey LT, what do you normally do when your troops can't read or write?"

It is obvious that Kamada does not want to even fill out her own, let alone somebody elses' sheet. She is not trying to be insulting to Oksana, but is definitely making a short commentary on Portia's use of written questionnares in such an illiterate profession.

"Well... normally I expect them to show a shred of intelligence like the new private has just done by asking you for help. When an order is given the important thing is that it is obeyed and the task completed. How it is completed is rarely important. For instance if I order you all to build a gallows and you are all for whatever reason a bunch of uneducated simpletons with a poor vocabulary then I would expect you to find someone who is not and then complete the task accordingly." A slight smile plays across Portias lips, the majority of her face still a shadow beneath her cowl. "While we are discussing what I normally expect... Corporal Kamada. I do expect to be called Lieutenant Lynn, Lieutnenant, Maam' or a combination thereof. Certainly not "Hey L.T." as I walk away. This is a regular Tolkeen Military unit and it will operate accordingly. Understood?"

 The corporal is stunned for a moment, not expecting that response from Portia. She looks back to Oksana, then at the ground. The veins in her forehead begin to bulge, and a few drops of blood trickle out of her nose and over her lips. A drop hits the ground before she wipes it away with her hand and sniffles the rest back up inside her head.

She looks back to the Lieutenant as the veins start to sink back to normal size.
 "Sorry Lieutenant. I will help her finish the paper lieutenant."

Ra and the other Iron Juggernauts do not even make an attempt to take the papers from Burd as he hands them out.

"What would you have us do Lieutenant? We are not as effective in restrained engagements."
