The church appears to be empty.

The three cyber knights waste no time in assisting Tyirrak cut through the roof. Covered by the globe of silence none of them make a sound. Mithas telekinetically removes the chunk of roof once they have finished.

The inside of the church has been damaged and there is a dead body... it appears to be Frijio of 6th platoon... he has been decapitated. No sign of the demons or any civilians. They are likely in the underground bunker. A trap door leads down the stairwell in the middle of the church.

Crouching near the neatly formed hole in the church's roof, Vashti is careful to keep his half-dozen drawn swords from scraping or otherwise contacting the stone building as he peers inside.  Though his concentration is intense, the smirk on his face gives away that the strange being is enjoying this.

Tyirrak makes a hand signal indicating for them to hold. Brodkil being able to naturally turn invisible, not seeing anybody was not a good indication of them not being there. A nictitating membrane slid across his vision as he psionically tuned his optical nerves to notice the invisible.

Once he was sure the immediate vicinity was clear, he moved the globe of silence down through the hole and dropped through. A pair of steel combat knives were held in his hand, ready to be thrown should a target present itself.

Xion follows his CO into the breach, ion pistols in hand.

The drop from the hole in the roof to the floor is 40 feet. Such a drop poses no challenge for a lanotaur... but elves and cyber knights are not as durable...

The church is indeed empty, other than Frijio's body and the steady stream of blood that still flows from the wound.

Mithas hops in, lowering himself to the ground with telekinetic abilities. He jogs over the the trap door leading to the bunker and pulls it open.

Slipping through the hole to follow Tyirrak, Vashti lands neatly within the sphere of silence.  Though the 40' would be worrying to most, Vashti seems to take it in stride.  Though the circle prevents sounds, his mouth can be seen to move in an angry curse as Vashti looks at Frijio's body.

Xion staggers a bit, knees absorbing most of the impact of the fall, luckily he didn't sprain anything. Xion takes a moment to assess his fall, the knees and ankles would be sore in the morning for sure.

Attila pulls open the doors, and it becomes apparetn after Vans' radio transmission that the church strike team was too late.

After Tyirrak and thothers rejoin their platoons, Maeth strolls out of the church. He was one of the hostages from 6th platoon.

There has been no report that the demons had been killed as of yet, this night is not over yet...
