Photios is soon joined by Karnon and then by Mephisto by the ley line. Naturally it is safer to stay together and they find the ruins of an old playground to gather around to do their work.

Mephisto responds to Lotus over the radio finally with "I am currently at the ley line with the others. Let me know when you become free again."

He looks to Photios and Karnon before returning to his meditation.

Kamada arrives on her hovercycle and parks it near Private Karnon. SHe doesn't say anything but just watches the mages at work. SHe leans against her bike and watches the sunset.
