Re: C9 : 3rd Platoon - Squad Four

"It's just been awful damn quiet..." he mutters.  The flyover by CS forces, suspicion of impending enemy attack, and lack of communication from the other team is starting to make him twitchy and it shows in his tone.

"Perhaps we should look for the squadron, it will be more difficult to deal with them after reinforcements arive, if that is indeed what is happening. Which does seem logical."

Re: C9 : 3rd Platoon - Squad Four

Amy spots a massive Coalition force moving towards Squad Five's position from the South East. Over a hundred heavy combat robots, and armoured vehicles, accompanied by hundreds of skelebots. Hundreds of SAMAS and Sky Cycles fill the air above them.

They are well over the 100 kilometer range of Amy's patrol, and wont actually arrive for approximately an hour, unless some of them pick up the current speed.

Needless to say... this is bad. Especially for the squad ten decks down inside the facility...

"woooo....  " Murmers Amy before quickly reaching for the radio.  "You've got an army incoming,  I mean it.  Hundreds and hundreds are coming from the south east, they should be here in an hour at least.  ah, Private Weyland-Yutani out."  Her radio protocal still not exactly on par with the rest.

“Understood, come back now.” Drano wasn’t bothered by the fact the CS had finally shown up with a mechanized force, just the size of it.

“Squads below ground if need be we'll buy time for you to get out.”

Re: C9 : 3rd Platoon - Squad Four

Drano doesn’t state the obvious that in all likelihood some or all of those in Squad Four would die whittling down oncoming mass of CS troops. If those below ground hadn’t completed their mission by the time the CS force arrived then in all likelihood none of them would get out alive. In essence squad four would trade their lives to buy time for the rest of 3rd Platoon to complete their mission and or escape.

"Chromium Guardsman turn on your invisibility and we wait in our defensive positions, once the CS APCs are in range we open fire, aim low so that even your missed shots will hit something. When it gets too hot up here we go down into the bunker. I'll fire the first shot."

“Amy and Cannon Fodder you focus on any threats from the air, try to cover us as lng as you can.”

"Maintain radio silence."

Re: C9 : 3rd Platoon - Squad Four

"Damn straight, sir!" McCloud snarls enthusiastically.  "I'll take as many of them with as I can on my way to hell."

A small voice screams for rationality, begging the soldier to rethink his strategy of marching directly into the jaws of death, but he ignores it.  This is what he's always wanted, to go out in a blaze of glory that people would be talking about for a hundred years.  Who needed life when they could achieve immortality?

On Drano's signal he activates his Invisibility cloak and aims his boom gun in the direction the enemy is approaching from.

Re: C9 : 3rd Platoon - Squad Four

Drano ignored Cannon Fodder, and maintained radio silence, if he was willing to break his own order he would have told the mountain of a Dee-Bee that it didn’t matter who the CS force was coming after. They were coming for some reason or another and it didn’t matter why. The CS would without a doubt find 3rd Platoon once they went into the complex for whatever reasons they had.

Drano merely listed to the radio broadcast from the CS forces. It was more of the same ‘Surrender or die’ rhetoric from the CS, well if today was Drano’s day to die, so be it.

"We may need some help down here... we walked into a bug nest of Xiticix... looks like 1 or 2 are already dead, 3 more pinned down... we got grunts down there too... on the other side of the bugs..."

He takes a moment to take in the beauty of the Glitter Boys... remembering his old suit... stolen from him by Arven and his band of cut throats...

Picking up the ask for help through his external microphone, Drano responds by picking up a rock and throwing it at Comartin Guardsmen. Once he has gotten Comartin’s attention Drano points to the Arthur then points down, indicating that he should go with Arthur.

Re: C9 : 3rd Platoon - Squad Four

They don't get far, before coming back to the surface, Arthur as well. The sounds of a hundred Xiticix screeching, companied with explosives and gun fire grows louder. The rest of squad Three follows Arthur to the surface as they retreat frm a swarm of Xiticix.

This htread will be closed, at least for now. You may all post in Squad 3. Naturally Drano will be in charge over Silvermasque should it come to that.
