Re: Chapter Eleven : They Were Expendable
The battle between Rakshasha and the cybernetic tiger blurs visibly as mage-blade and vibro-sword clash and send tortured sparks chasing down one anothers edges, but the fight seems to be going more or less 'Masque's way, his weapons striking home more often, albeit to far less effect, even his most powerful blows opening little more than long, painful gashes while the one clean strike the creature lands upon him shatters the remnant of his shield and opens a long, seared gash in his armour.
When it ends, suddenly and inconclusively he spins once, weapons held on guard as if expecting a trick only for the true state of the battlefield to become apparent. First off he acknowledges Nuitari's order with a swift "Prisoners, Da!" but he's already sheathing his weapons, underhandedly tossing a small black CS-issue box towards Jack and moving, heading past Disharmony where he pauses to look at her and rumble "Это было давно. Слишком долго. Ты хорошо выглядишь.", reaching out with one gauntleted hand to lightly touch the side of her jaw before he moves on to see to policing the field.
On his way past Thasha he adds his voice to calls out audibly (very audibly) "We are having wounded supernatural here. Healer, fast!" before continuing to collect the surrendered mages, who are each 'assisted' into whatever the big tiger can find involving helmets he can spray-paint matt the viewing slits of (hard to cast spells when you can't see) and fine-wire wrist restraints (sure you can break out of them with raw force, and it'll only cost you 1D2 hands).
