It really is quite a song. I'd recommend the "Wolf's Rain" soundtrack, since Yoko Kanno's work is so amazing. I also highly recommend the anime. There really isn't anything quite like it. :)

Arrgh.  I somehow missed the 'Basics'.  I'll actually go back and edit, because Cyan wouldn't give her life story if Dorian asked them not to. :)

Guys, don't worry about Dorian! Please, by all means, please tell your life stories if you want to.

:)  But that's in character!

Dorian, In Character, has requested (validly, given the situation) that they not tell the life stories.  :)  Hence Cyan is giving an abbreviated introduction because she respects Dorian, and his logical point.  What she has told Serena is more than enough to give the gist of who she is without leaping into her usual poetic (and overly long) explanation of her past.  :)

I'm not worried about it OOC, and neither is Cyan-IC!  :)  She's acknowledging Dorian's point by trying to be as brief as possible.

I think it's neat that Dorian pops up to snarl out a warning or a comment about alacrity.  :)  We need an anchor to the purple prose group (Aaron and Cyan).  :)  James and Jonnee are about average when it comes to speaking - they get to the point without excessive floweriness.  But I expect that Dorian winces every time Aaron or Cyan opens their mouth....  ^_^

Okay, that's a relief. All the OOC comments made me worry that people thought I, the player, didn't want life stories. In fact, I would love them, but Dorian just has to be contrary for the sake of it.

If everyone said they shouldn't share life stories, he'd probably take the opposite stance. "We should know our enemy, but we should know our allies even better."

No worries Dorian. IC is IC and that is who your character is. If you aren't true to character what's the point :) Cheers!
