Re: By popular demand, the OOC thread...

I shall have to remember that.  Apparantly putting up with 'Sushi' is easier than dealing with the fallout from stitching you up improperly as revenge.

I wouldn't want to end up like poor Will, after all!  :)

Yeah, considering the fallout might come out of the end of any gun I carry.  ;)

So, do you prefer Tissue, then?

I prefer Shui.  But I expect that will continue to come out Sushi.

Better my name, than me.  ^_^

Look at the size of that thing!

Sushi's portait, of course, what did you think?  I doubt that will be approved of, it is waaay too big.  ;)

Stop gloating.  We all know who reduced it for me.

I haven't even started the game, and I'm already in your debt!

Gloating?  I don't gloat, Tissue.  I'm too cute for that.

But yeah, a minimizer bra can work wonders...  ;)

As for the debt, I'll think of something.

Hmm...  You wouldn't happen to have a pink nuke on you, would you?  8)

If that's an illegal drug, I might be able to find one for you.  Somewhere.

As for the minimizer bra, I seriously doubt that's my biggest concern.  :)

No, I don't do drugs, unless it is hot chocolate.  Cocoa.

No bra?  But... that's what I used on the picture!  ;)

Heheheheh.

Yas wants a nuke, has done for ages.

Purely for defence... preferably in pink, with a bow... because a girl has a right to own pretty things.  :)

Ahh...I see.

A friend of mine once wanted a QF-3000 Ghost (Robotech Rpg).

He tried and tried to requisition it, but nobody believed him when he said 'For home defense'.

Oh....and no, I probably can't get you a nuclear weapon.  :(  My apologies - you'll have to think of something else.

How about some nice, sterile bandages?

Hmm, could be handy if I wanted to patch up Ridge in clean bandages when I see him.

Nah, I'll take a rain check.  ;)

Re: By popular demand, the OOC thread...

Pleased to have you aboard Shui Tiesi.

Am I right in thinking that Shui is your surname, and we should call you Tiesi if we are being friendly because the eastern peoples put the Christian name last.

That being the case, Yas doesn’t get to call you Sushi that often. This is not necessarily and advantage as she is bound to come up with something else, but at least you’ll not be making it easy for her.

Re: By popular demand, the OOC thread...

Very perceptive of you, Jago, and I'm pleased to meet you.

However, to better interface with Western societ (which seems to be the whole galaxy), my people have adopted the way of putting the family name second ('Christian' name?  For shame! :).  Hence, my given name is Shui.

I look forward to working with the both of you.  I assume we will be working?  Not merely lounging around, dirt poor, in spacedock?

See, I knew that, but who am I to contradict my highly intelligent captain?  Captain, my captain...  Skippy.

And there's no more work than when you're spaceporthoping with just a mothball and fluff burning hole in your pockets.

Of course you are looking forward to working with the likes of us, Sushi.  *heavy pats on the back*

Now, where did ArewethereJett go?  Is our bold navigator lost again?

Don't look at me.

The first left for whatever reason - possibly mating season for ducks, the second one bailed on us - probably after meeting Ridge, the third one, well, I'm not sure of her yet...  Maybe she never got over the insult towards her bathing suit by ArewethereJett?

Heal thyself, Doc, I'd say!

Re: By popular demand, the OOC thread...

[begins quietly stocking up on bandages, painkillers, and personal med-gear]

I am preparing to do just that.  Hopefully I will not find it necessary to defend myself [absently waves around a snub gun, unmindful of which direction the bore is pointed, before tossing it into a carry-on bag], though that situation may come up as well.

I may have made a poor career choice.  Time will tell, I expect.
