It takes a few moments, but eventually Jago gets an answer from Ore Hound.

"Hello Jago." Jockram says cheerfully, "What can we do for you?"  From somewhere comes a loud crash, and Jockram yells, "I told you pair, if you break that you'll pay for it from your own shares!"

His voice drops to a more conversational tone, "Want to trade some crew?  I'll accept anything that isn't a plant, and that can walk under its own power."

Jago chuckles, “still doesn’t sound like much of a bargain.”

“I wondered if you and your crew would like to come over for dinner tomorrow night, nothing to fancy, a bring a bottle sort of affair.”

There is a brief pause, then, "You haven't seen these two eat, have you?  Not a pretty sight.  By my estimate Banster gets less than a third of the food into his mouth, and Hegerich never learned to chew with his mouth closed."

"I heard that!" comes a voice from somewhere in the distance.

"I'll see if I can them cleaned up, Jago, and we'll gladly come over for something to eat."

"Jago?  Hi Jago!  Are we going to eat on Profit Margin Jockram?  She carries passengers.  They'll have decent food.  Hey, Banster.  Profit Margin's invited us over for a bite to eat.  You'll need to find some decent pants."

"You see what I have to put up with?  We'll be there, though.  What time?"
