Re: Hunters OOC

My character over in the south is a good friend of it....it must be picky about where it gives me my 20's and where it gives me my single digits.

Re: Hunters OOC

Oh, that?  They was just giving out the vorpal weapons from the last ship they sunk.  That, rings of wizardry, scrolls of maximized fireball...cheap stuff.

Re: Hunters OOC

OK, You've got one more PC before I'm gonna have to point out what I've found...how embarassing that the fake person found the whatever that it is i've found and you four didn't....

;)

OK, never mind, I keep forgetting that Varlath is out for a brief while, I've made his roll for him and I'm afraid he missed as well.  (rolled a spot check for Renny but ment it to be a search check...he has a +0 in both anyway.)

Re: XP!

Because 'flicking the switch' NEVER, EVER results in that secret passageway opening up, or that hitherto unseen chest that was chained to the roof and full to the brim with shitloads of treasure suddenly lowering itself to ground level, or a ring of 3 wishes falling out of the slot at the bottom of the machine.

It is ALWAYS a switch placed there by some unnamed NPC with a sick sense of humour who figured, "Yeah, I am SURE to suck somebody into flicking this", then suddenly the world opens up beneath them into a bottomless chasm, or they are lightning bolted for 10d6 or something.

Anyhow.....I've flicked it. Tell Mummy I love 'er.

Re: XP!

Actually....the way I would design it is to have the one who flicked the switch safe on a 5x5 platform...while all the rest of the ground gives way to the bottomless chasm......

Oh wait, I have done that... :)

Sad times

Hey all, let me first start off by apologizing for my excessive absence. I recently nabbed a promotion at work, and found myself swamped with more hours. I thought they would die down, but it turns out it hasn't, and they won't. Yet another example of the rat race taking an avid player out of D&D :รพ

As such, I will be pulling out of all my RoA games and drifing into the forgotten background, maybe to be brought back some other time. Again, sorry everyone, especially you DM, for having to put up with me not being here.

Re: Sad times

Good luck to you on the outside Valrath, and think nothing of the game, you take care of the real world and if/when you ever make it back feel free to drop us a line.  I won't delete you in case you ever do come back you can keep going as yourself.  Congrats on the promotion!

Re: Sad times

Just to let you all know, we are as far behind the Pirates time wise as it will take us to finish this quest.  After this it will be time to begin hunting them to the ends of the earth.

Re: Sad times

Sweet. We're ready for them - mano e mano. Just remember that there's only 3 of us and - if I do say myself - we aren't going too badly. But I wouldn't mind if you could recruit a cleric for our group. It really would make a difference.

Re: Sad times

I got the call out for 3 more to join up, not say what I want/need for the group (I hate influencing what people play, if all 3 come in and what to be rogues then we get a ship full of thieves.)
