DM Halaster:
First, regarding initiative in encounters: has Mike's system of using an average for the group worked out, or would you prefer individual initiatives? The averaging method is faster, I'll admit, but it means that all your foes will act at the same time.
I like the system Mike set up, for the time-saving reasons. Well, it depends - if we need to post in order of initiative, then I hate individual initiatives. I've seen rounds of combat take over a week of Real Time like that, sometimes closer to two. If we can post out of initiative order, and then the DM makes a summary post at the end of the round, putting actions in order of initative (I think most DMs I've seen on the site does this - and whenever I don't use Mike's system, it's what I do, as well).
DM Halaster:
Second, I've taken everyone's characters and rewritten them using the new stat-block format used in DMG 2, the past couple years of Dungeon Magazine, and pretty much everything WotC has published since. It's a lot easier to read, and takes up much less space than the standard RoA sheet.
If you're interested, I'll be happy to transfer the format to your character sheet, though I'd be using a few tags (mostly bold) to make it more readable. Or, I can PM the new look to you and let you decide whether or not to make the switch. (You might want to retain the current format, as some DMs here are picky about using it. I prefer readability, and feel the RoA sheet wastes a lot of space.)
Hm... I'm not crazy about the new format, honestly, but if you could put it at the bottom of my character sheet area, I'll take a look at it, see if I can get used to it, I guess?
