Everyone good so far?  Happy to be moving forward?  Like the thought of playing with me?

Re: Sea of Fallen Stars: OOC

yah I lik the thought of playing with you, I've just been a little busy these last couple days. Funny how while all of the games I'm in are stalled I have hours of free time to spend and when they seem to get started up stuff happens and my free time goes away. It's like I'm being teased.

Re: Sea of Fallen Stars: OOC

lol... I know what you mean!

Anyway, not to burden you all, but I guess I wrote something that set a few people so off, and I guess they must have been influential people, because I'm banned from the DML, even though I DM 3 games.

I have ideas about how it all came about, but I don't want you to get inolved.  If you wanted to help me out - and really, I don't think you want to get involved - but if you wanted to help, you could simply PM DM BadCatMan and say

'I don't know what's going on, and don't need to, but Fred's a fine GM.'

or something.  That should keep you out of it, and that way, you'd only be talking about what you knew - my experience with you as a GM.  No one can fault you for your experience with me as a GM.

Regards

Fred

Re: Sea of Fallen Stars: OOC

jeez, you'd think there wouldn't be any of this kind of silliness on a message board like this. I mean honestly I don't know what's going on, but kicking someone while they are running active games just because they said something seems like junior high crap. Unless you did something that broke the terms of use of whatever they have for RPOL or are running you other games like a jackass and are just screwing with your players I don't see why someone not liking you or what you said should get you banned from anything other than maybe another DM's game.

Re: Sea of Fallen Stars: OOC

Flik, I appreciate your sentiment, and agree wholeheartedly.  I do, as I believe that many do, speak 'off the cuff' sometimes, and can understand how some people might be initially inclined to take something the wrong way.  What I can't understand is why someone might let their unwillingness to discuss or understand a person, or that person's position, cataput them into full-on hostility.  I can assure you that while my writings may not always make sense to some, my writings never broke any TOU of RPoL or RoA, and my writings never singled out a particular DMs game.

Would that I could say the same of those who so glibly wrote to me.

So anyway, I'm in some sort of holding pattern.  I feel an obligation to my players, and to my gms.  I feel that there is potential for RoA - to reach higher, or only to aspire to its former greatness, I cannot say.  But as one might expect, my contributions to the whole are limited if I am segregated to a section.

Over the short run then, Flik, Lilian, and Zorlax, I intend to keep posting as I am allowed by the sprites of circumstance.  But the fates are fickle, and I cannot promise more than I can do.

Should you want to keep playing with me as a fellow game-player, I would then encourage you to do but one thing:

Post!

Naturally, there are ways that you could come out in favor of all those cast into my perdicament, but I will not tire your ears unless you'd like to reach me personally.  My email is already available - fbaker4@yahoo.com

Thanks again for your patience, your time, and your characters.

Re: Sea of Fallen Stars: OOC

I'd like to wait for Lilian...to speak frankly, it was her character's inclusion that prompted the confusion of the bubble-region...because she tended to the evil side of the spectrum, tho' it weren't the virulent kind of evil, it was evilnontheless.

So hang loose for a day or so?  Because once we set sail, we can't easily add PCs.

We could fish them out of the sea or rescue them from an adrift ship.

Re: Sea of Fallen Stars: OOC

true.  it seems, though, it Lilian is KMAGYOYO; i think we'll start our sail, but we three can think about what we want to do longer term.  On a vastly dumber note, I might get banned from RoA for completely specious reasons.  So if i dissappear for no reason, that's why.  Oh - I'll be away for most of 9th - 14th.

Re: Sea of Fallen Stars: OOC

well if you are going to be away from the 9th to the 14th anyway we might as well wait around for a new player or two.
