https://numbergamer8.itch.io/miniatures-game-tool

here is a screenshot
https://img.itch.zone/aW1hZ2Uv.../original/2cZLY5.png

its free for windows & has source code.

what makes this App good is NO SETUP, just add images to a folder, that's it, then you can use them in the app, the app uses PNGs and you can have transparenct for different shapes or minis etc.. you can add custom rulers or anything like that, it has an inbuilt measure aswell.

I have an injury that prevents me from using a tabletop, so I made this app to play, hope some of you have use for it?

Looks like it could be handy, even as a way to update maps here.

Fairly easy to use for the most part once you get the hang of it.

Two things.

Is there some way to tell the program where to save things?

Is there anyway to temporarily remove the UI (for purposes of image capture) and/or export an image of just the maps+chits?

In reply to nauthiz (msg # 3):

You can use the MapMaker App included, it uses the same savefile to export map and chits, its a big area it saves and is marked out in map maker, it cuts a big rectangle out and sends a PNG to the desktop.

If you deselect all units with reset you can see more of the screen, and on High resolution you can enlarge to screen area to the bigger res the UI gets smaller but the map area gets bigger.

you can only save to the desktop, its a limit of the programing language.

Move things into position and screenshot for your game, or are the files too big for map upload on Rpol?
